I'm tryyyyyyying to look at the bright side with IK out. Maybe the desperation needed will get the slumping players going and everyone will be hitting on all cylinders when IK comes back.

Could happen.....

.....or we're 6 points out of 8th when he comes back. I could buy that too.

Well...We beat the Flyers in the playoffs without him. Easily too. Just score a couple and Marty will do the rest.

Keep the wins coming while the big, Russian bear rests up for the playoffs.

He doesn't have one, hence the question. Someone said he looked like Zajac only with a bigger nose lol, I'd play on that one.

At Devils' skate: D'Agostini skating at RW with Henrique at LW and Loktionov at C. Sestito centering Pesonen and Kostopoulos.
Looks like I correctly projected the lineup, what do I win?

Lines from practice:

Elias-Zajac-Clarkson
Henrique-Lotki-D'ags
Carter-Gionta-Bernier
Pesonen-Sestito-Kostopoulos

I don't hate those. But...

Apparently Elias is being put at the point on the PP. Hmmm....

From TG:

Tom Gulitti ‏@TGfireandice 1m
Elias and Zidlicky are on the points on the first PP unit with Zajac, Henrique and Clarkson up front.

The second unit has Greene and Harrold on the points with Bernier, Loktionov and D'Agostini up front.

Looks like Patrik Elias and Marek Zidlicky on 1st power play points. Andy Greene and Peter Harrold on 2nd unit points
Well... that's interesting.

Haha, has Elias ever played the point? He can certainly distribute and make good decisions but nobody's going to fear his shot from the point. At least Zajac would give you the slap shot option too, but whatever.

Sutter tried Elias at the point in the first few weeks of his first season with us if I remember correctly. I don't think it was very successful. I can see the first unit lining up in an umbrella formation though with Zids at the point, Patty and Zajac on the halfboards and Clarkie/henrique up front.
