HAHA, agreed, on these boards, there are still some who think Bergy is overpaid

id love to get him though. no doubt in my mind that in bostons system with chara he could be come a solid number 2 guy down the line.

think for the next couple years the towers on defense we would have though if we did.
Chara Myers Hamilton McQuaid. that would be one hell of a large defensive group

Who else

1. Can afford Iggy's cap hit

2. Has room for him in the forward group

3. Can Afford to trade the prospects/picks

4. Is on Iggy's list

Or is Boston essentially bidding against itself?

If a team that doesn't spend much can get him at a decent price then it could be a very good buy.

Teams are always willing to try out a d-man with that kind of potential.

#4 is the most important as I'm sure every team could find a spot for him and most can afford his pro-rated cap hit.

The Kings have a pretty stacked prospect pool if I`m not mistaken, and aren`t the Flames in the position of really getting themselves on the road to the post Kipprisoff era? Bernier?

And with Iggy putting the B`s on his list of "possibles", no way Chia just ignores that without making a few calls to Feaster

If the Flames have proven anything this year it's the ability to lose games with Kipprusoff or Joey Macdonald or Dany Taylor or Leland Iriving in net.

Kipper will be out the way too I'm thinking.

So true, there was rumblings on the fan590 that Bozak, being a UFA this summer could be moved, hard to imagine how Kessel would like that

Bozak would be the best center they've had since Craig Conroy.

Not even kidding. That's how bad it is there. When I look at that team, they have 1 NHL centerman(Stajan) they others are rookies(Backlund, Cverenka) or Wingers(Tanguay, Camelleri)

Bruins have an embarrassment of riches in the C dept.

PIT keeps adding on while Chiarelli keeps shuffling garbage from within. Might as well concede the East.

Maybe it's time to start selling a piece or two. No joke. Pittsburgh looks a hungry team with few holes.

Maybe Chia can convince Shero to take Pandolfo??!!

Im curious as to the cost of Murray.

Shero bringing the heat, Chia, you're up! The race in the East just got more interesting..
