I can barely skate if at all, but I sure can judge a player as a fan.

Those are the guys who seem to make the best coaches though. Guy's who didn't have all that much skill and had to work there ***** off. Like Dan Bylsma. Remember him as a player? lol

I have no opinion on him as a coach good or bad, but 2001-03 Hull as a player.

Then you are missing out big time

Football is ridiculously awesome, it coes pretty close to rivaling hockey to be quite honest

Sure there's diving but it's nowhere near as bad as people say

It's always been like that

You can't fire the players

You can't really fire the GM after only two (or is three now?) years

Who can you get rid of if you want to make sure the message "this isn't good enough" gets across? The coach

It sucks for the coach but I Boucher shouldn't be out of a job for too long: he's a good coach.

Murray was good a few years ago, but the guy is pretty much done now.

Apparently they may have traded two second round picks to get him. So clearly Pittsburgh disagrees with your assessment.

Look what B.Morrow and Murray have brought in.

I'm getting more and more comfortable with the idea of not doing anything at the deadline.

The market must be absolutely ridiculous in favor of sellers. Bonus for us when it comes time to trade Bishop.

You need 1st/2nd round picks to build your team in the future. But When Pittsburgh has Crosby and Malkin, they could just spend the picks for veterans at every deadline for the next decade and be a contender each year I think.

Yep if that's the price for a bottom pair defenceman the price for any other just went up, Gonchar is worth more now.

Pitts just totally destroyed the trade market for the deadline!

Stay clear of Clowe if thats what it took to get Murray

Interestingly enough Hal Gill was a big part of the Pens winning the cup not too long ago.

Really though, I'd like to keep Gonchar for the playoffs but if we can get more than 2 second round picks back for him...

Considering Murray just got two seconds, and the year Gonchar is having, more than two seconds is a given.
