Women seem to have a harder time shedding weight than guys do (iirc it's something to do with guys relatively higher muscle mass and it's ability to use calories) and if i have to shed some it's fairly easy for me...in winter my snack to exercise ratio is not what it should be, but as long as i stick to daytime eating of fairly good to neutral foods I can eat whatever i want for supper and still lose weight. Stay away from over-processed **** and you should be fine. use spices and herbs so you don't get bored with what you're eating. plus **** like black pepper helps your body absorb more nutrients, so add it to everything. Tumeric is also killer. I've heard it said if you allow yourself a cheat food you're going to be more successful than people who try to play it strict. Mine is Starbucks lattes.
Mine is coffee. And ****ing chocolate chip cookies. I've tried to cut down on them, and honestly 1 pack for a week is not bad, but still.
I don't have a microwave so that helps. I like to cook my own food even though I live at home. I'm lazy so the stuff I eat is usually frozen wok meal or something similar but hey, better than ready meals.
I've had my fair share of boozy weekends as well, but I've still managed to do it. It's just a matter of working out and eating right. You can still drink in the weekends.
Also it has helped that I have a friend who knows a lot about nutrition and working out etc. I still have work to do, but it's a good start.
Good job dude. I'm just waiting for my friend to get ready so I can get to gym with him. Already went yesterday and did a murderous leg day, but I really want to go today as well. Planning to do like a light 45mins on the bike or something.
I also really want the snow to melt off so I can go buy a pair of new sneakers and start jogging as Puhis also mentioned. Need to get myself healthy so I can skate better next winter.
