Redundant statements, but true none the less.

Next time you're in a Holiday gas station give this a try:

Someone has taken the two best foods on the planet and put them together.

Damn I wish I could eat bacon right now. Throat is too swollen and sore still. Getting much better however.

Nasal rinses suck tho.

Oh dammit, I gotta remember to get some of that the next time I get gas. I live right by a Holiday.

It's pure flavor heaven. But, I will say it's not cheap. Jerky itself these days isn't though.

Noticed today that I have lost 26 pounds in 10 months. Started eating more protein and vegetables and started eating less carbs, plus working out more in a gym.

Even though it wasn't that hard to be honest, I'm pretty proud of myself.

I'm hoping I get to enjoy actual flavor soon. I do not have a sense of smell, but now that my sinuses are cleaned out, I'm hoping that comes as I heal.

Awesome. I've been losing weight myself in the last half a year or so. It's a lot easier once you get in a routine.

Yeah, true. It became a lot easier once I moved out from my parents' house.

Started watching the show Justified. I'm about halfway through the second episode right now.

Anybody watch this show?

I've already noticed two people who have played parts in True Blood. Seems that shows that involve the deep south like to all cast from the same group

Justified is awesome. FX hardly ever misses with their shows.

Well done everyone on the weight loss. Wish I could be in there with you, but the damn boozy weekends hold me back.

Holy **** Cameron Frye is a badass killer dentist in Justified episode 4! Absolutely loving the casting in this show so far.

EDIT: He's not a killer. Just a fugitive. Oh well.

I'm just waiting for most of the snow to melt so I can start jogging. Not that I want to, but I need to.

Women seem to have a harder time shedding weight than guys do (iirc it's something to do with guys relatively higher muscle mass and it's ability to use calories) and if i have to shed some it's fairly easy for me...in winter my snack to exercise ratio is not what it should be, but as long as i stick to daytime eating of fairly good to neutral foods I can eat whatever i want for supper and still lose weight. Stay away from over-processed **** and you should be fine. use spices and herbs so you don't get bored with what you're eating. plus **** like black pepper helps your body absorb more nutrients, so add it to everything. Tumeric is also killer. I've heard it said if you allow yourself a cheat food you're going to be more successful than people who try to play it strict. Mine is Starbucks lattes.

Mine is coffee. And ****ing chocolate chip cookies. I've tried to cut down on them, and honestly 1 pack for a week is not bad, but still.

I don't have a microwave so that helps. I like to cook my own food even though I live at home. I'm lazy so the stuff I eat is usually frozen wok meal or something similar but hey, better than ready meals.

Yeah, it's hard to diet with someone living with you who is not dieting, because eventually you just get so hungry you'll eat any damned thing you can get your hands on.

I've had my fair share of boozy weekends as well, but I've still managed to do it. It's just a matter of working out and eating right. You can still drink in the weekends.

Also it has helped that I have a friend who knows a lot about nutrition and working out etc. I still have work to do, but it's a good start.

Good job dude. I'm just waiting for my friend to get ready so I can get to gym with him. Already went yesterday and did a murderous leg day, but I really want to go today as well. Planning to do like a light 45mins on the bike or something.

I also really want the snow to melt off so I can go buy a pair of new sneakers and start jogging as Puhis also mentioned. Need to get myself healthy so I can skate better next winter.
