Bad call against Richards. We'll take it though. 4 mins too.

How do the refs make such a bad call? I mean..wtf? He clearly was shooting the puck there and it was the follow through that hit Stalberg.

He missed the shot, that's the justification on the penalty. Wasn't a follow through because no shot attempt was considered.

Now if we score a couple times on the PP this win will be nullified on the main boards...lmao

60.1 High-sticking - A “high stick” is one which is carried above the height of the opponent’s shoulders. Players and goalkeepers must be in control and responsible for their stick. However, a player is permitted accidental contact on an opponent if the act is committed as a normal windup or follow through of a shooting motion. A wild swing at a bouncing puck would not be considered a normal windup or follow through and any contact to an opponent above the height of the shoulders shall be penalized accordingly.

But it wasn't a wild swing. It was a shot attempt that he whiffed on.

You guys are brutal. Not scoring on the PP =\= bad PP. hawks had a lot of chances, moved the puck well. They were in the kings zone being deadly for a good chunk of that pp

It's the only possible interpretation i can think of. There's no way it should've been a double minor at the very least, but I can see the argument if the ref believed it had not settled down yet.

Typical Hawk PP. For the millionth time, why is Keith out there on the PP? You'd think after the last few games Q would finally have no reason to have Leddy on PP2. What a waste of talent.
