Who said what to Greening? And can he make sure he says that again next game?

I'll take the pts. Some nights we deserve the extra pt and don't get it.

Bad
This team can't seem to play well with a lead
Lengthy close up of Gonchar clearing his snots

Good
Condra has 130523 shorthanded breakaways
Tim Peel wipes out
Alfie finally scores in shootout
Bishop is undefeated in shootout

I think I heard "refs you suck" chant near the end too

Link 2 (The one I posted somewhere back in the first period) was Sportsnet.

I don't really like the "didn't deserve to win" attitude. The Devils had countless chances and they didn't score thanks to Bishop or the post. Ottawa scored goals when they needed to, took away the momentum to end the 2nd period, and while they were outplayed for stretches of the game, their goal scorers came up big in the shootout.

We deserved this win. If the Devils had won, they'd have deserved it too. One of those games.

Sens need to have 3 pt games with everyone minus leafs to help them not make the playoffs

That's just silly. We didn't deserve a tie either.

Stole 2 points

Bishop was great, can't call either of the two goals scored against him weak and came up huge when we needed him

Glad to see Alfie scoring in the shootout again

At least a few times, Ottawa only got control of the puck and managed to leave their end because the Devils had been cycling and shooting continuously long enough to need a change. They thoroughly outplayed the Sens. Those games aren't easy losses to accept.

Official Sens post-game win song should be reinstated

Just wanted to drop by and say I have the utmost respect for what your team is accomplishing. Through all the injuries they keep finding ways to win, its a great story.

Good luck

The Devils didn't take advantage of "thoroughly outplaying" the Sens, though. That's their fault and credit to our goaltending.

If any Devils fans are perusing our board, you guys deserved the win and Loktionov was a mega steal.

Refs let everything go.

At least they were consistent.

Devils had a lot of jump, I'll certainly give them credit.

Nice to see Alfie and Z-Bad come up big in the shootout.

Bishop has the Devils' number.

We should have come out of that first period up 2 or 3 to nothing.

We were outshot but we had some very high quality chances that were squandered.

Liked seeing the physical play from Greening and Zibanejad. It's that kind of play that will be useful in the post-season - speed and hitting.

Lokti is a beast. So is Zibanejad kid looks like a stud. If the Devils don't make it I'll root for the Sens. They are a really likeable team.

Yes. You definitely did. After Alfie was tripped in the Devils' end at the end of the 3rd, there was much booing. Refs suck in overtime.

Thanks for the kind words. Good luck to you guys the rest of the way. Watching Brodeur is still a pleasure after all of these years.

One trend from last week continued. Turris can't please the linesman at the faceoff dot, and Regin also got ejected as much as he was allowed to take the drop. Zibenajad on the other hand never gets any grief and wins all the time. I haven't checked his percentages, but he seems really good at faceoffs.
