Tired? Did you not watch the game last night? Edmonton handed STL an easy 2 points last night.

Yeah but it's still a back to back on the road for them. That is never easy

Couldn't have been that tired if they put up 38 shots to 17.

I just realized that if we miss the playoffs and the Leafs make it we'll have the distinction of the longest running playoffless drought in the league.

This would be my guess unless he doesn't want to leave until the end of the year. He was on Gregor's show last week seems like a guy that hates to leave anywhere.

Cooper seems the obvious choice unless the problem actually was that the veterans were shutting out Boucher, in which case they might go to somebody like Ruff.

huh?

what the Sens are doing is pretty remarkable without their #1 D-man, #1 center and #1 goalie...people can't be appreciative of that?

People, hockey fans can, that's not why it's being brought up.

Sure, it's great. But it's amazing what happens when everyone buys into what the coach is saying.

We're just in awe because that's not happening out here. I give the sens credit, but I give their coach even more credit.

Anyone catch that guy that worked with Gagner on Gregor's show yesterday? I think Gregor had something on the Journal's website about it as well. Real interesting that when asked what he wanted help with Gagner said "I fall on my ass lots". I wonder if Hall should go to the same guy this summer.

Its called depth. Sure coaching helps but if the organization has no depth it doesn't matter who the coach is.

Thats why the Oilers fall off of a cliff when just 1 player (ie...Horcoff) gets injured.
The Oilers have the worst depth in the NHL.

This team has no depth and a ton of junk veterans... thats all on Tambo.

Interesting article from Travis Yost:

http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog.php?p...0#.UVHYsNNethx

Rates the top PK guys in the league, the first group are the elite, the second group are the most heavily-deployed and still successful. No Oilers on there, guys.

Wow, penalty kill wizards like Mike Fisher and Sergei K have lead Nashville to the second worse pk in the league.

I have to think Sergei 'I just gave the puck,go for a change' Kostitsyn being on that list some what invalidates it.

Actually, thought I read somewhere (Matheson's review of the game?) that Sergei is reportedly one of their best defensive players.
