They mauled us in the second and third and fully deserved the win.

It was everything, ****** PP, bad defense, Crow was about average when we needed a superhuman effort, just a tough loss, glad they play at home again tomorrow, just forget about this game, it was still there because Quick was awful...this hurts, you just park it and move on.

Yeah, we're missing two of our top D Men so we are not the same defensively right now and it frankly just pisses us off to let so many goals through. Either way, both teams are missing players, but I certainly do not want to see you guys in the playoffs.

Good game, heck of roller coaster.

It was definitely a frustrating game to watch at certain times, but the amount of complaining from some people has been pretty ridiculous.

I can handle a loss. I'm not happy watching this team get outworked for almost 2 full periods.

I've never seen a player miss the net so many times; or have so many shots blocked. The coaches are so blind. Why they kept putting him out there, I'll never know.

It's clear we need an upgrade on 4th line wing, and fast. Bow can at least do that.

Or call up Morin; I'm happy with either, give the 3 stooges a break though, health, age, inexperience and lack of skill, any way you slice it, time for new blood there.

D and Goaltending was bad, but there were a lot of fluky bounces and plays too.

Still, if I had to assign blame to the game to one specific person, it would have to be Eddie O. I'm sitting on my sofa watching the start of the 2nd period, and he has the gumption to say "Ya know, Pat, the Kings just passed their 200th minute without a goal. They have been on quite a dry spell of late"

Right then and there I was like "Oh you stupid S.O.B. What have you DONE?" Sure as hell, about a minute later, the Kings scored. Then a minute after that, they scored again. And they continued scoring until they had 5 goals.

THANKS EDDIE.

The Penguins have never had a bad game or 2 periods, Anaheim is so far above us, no one can beat them, not even the Sharks.

It's the fourth line. Not nearly as important as people make it out to be. Kruger and Frolik have been solid this year, and there's either Carcillo/Mayers/Bollig to play the other wing and bring in some toughness that people are always going on and on about. Bowman could always try to improve little things about the fourth line, like bringing in someone who's good at faceoffs, but I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

Dropping late leads in games is killing us. This team is badly missing the offense and defense that Sharp and Hossa bring.

I am fine with Kruger and Frolik, but Bollig and Carcillo are a waste of a roster spot. Neither can play hockey that well, and both are defensive liabilities. I can't understand why Q keeps playing Bollig. He serves no purpose. He is a pylon.

Hopefully the play in the last ~5-6 games is a funk that the team can climb out of. If not, then some changes need to be made if the team wants to have a serious chance at winning the cup.

True, but aren't most teams missing an important piece or two right now? The Hawks were incredibly fortunate on the injury front during the first half of the year.

Yeah, injuries are no excuse, it was there and they didn't close, in spite of the flawed play. What can you do? They are better than this; that's why it hurts.

A little adversity now isn't necessarily a bad thing. Just need to get it fixed in the next 3 weeks
