He actually did, I don't think it was by Krejci though, but that would be pretty funny. He's DTD, so that's good.

Johnson's playing well, Bartkowski's playing well, and Dougie Hamilton is finally playing with balls. I'm not worried.

I can't say I agree with you at all. Johnson has been playing so-so, and Bartkowski is lucky to get in shifts without embarassing himself.

Without Johnny and Quaider, I see the Bruins having a tough time winning 4 out of 7 against pretty much anyone in the race. They sorely need at least one of those two to make it back into the lineup before too long. There's a lot of physicality missing from the D these days.

Too many left handed D right now, watch how effective the cycle is when the lefties have to pick it up on their backhand at the blueline and try to do something with it.

Sort of agree with Bartkowski, but Johnson has looked great IMO. He's been all that you can ask for for a bottom pairing guy, and I prefer him to McQuaid, to be honest. Boychuk is definitely missed though.

Good to see Boychuk back on the ice. And Bartkowski seems to be gaining more confidence. He played a solid two way game tonight, chipping in with an assist on Horty's goal.

@NHLBruins: Let's mix in some good news on the hockey front - Chris Kelly told the crowd here at Cuts for a Cause that he skated today...^CS

Getting Kelly back will be a huge boast to the 3rd line and on ice leadership....no surprise were 17-3-3 with him...5-5-1 without him

Both Kelly and McQuaid are on the ice for the morning skate, "working hard."

So PC shouldn't panic and give up the farm just to make a move.

No report on Bergeron. Hamilton was on the bench smiling after his hit. Looks like he just got the wind knocked out of him.

So... um really? Any updates on Bergeron? Another thread was started, closed, and linked to this with no information.

Sounds like nothing coming out.

KPD just tweeted that there is no update on Bergeron and that he doesn't expect the B's will say anything until Chia's 5PM trade ddl press conf -- if then. Players have full day off.

There is no update because they probably have no idea yet. Haven't we learned anything about concussions? A guy can feel horrible one day, better the next, then horrible again. Let's hope it's closer to the one he had when Giroux hit him and he missed about a week. But who knows?

If you insisted on an answer right now, it would probably be that he's out from a week to a year.

Read the date on the post before quoting it.

I am probably in the minority and think Bergy will be just fine.

It honestly looked like he had tweaked a knee or groin the way he went down.

Cautious optimism and even if he is out, we are not finished by a long shot. Look at what Ottawa has done with all of their injuries.

True, but it could also hurt Chia's trading leverage if word leaks that Bergy's out for any length of time. I could see him keeping mum for most of the day as Number 8 suggested.
