Yea, my guess is that Carimi is our opening day starting RG, Webb our RT, and Scott the swing/depth tackle. That could all change drastically after the draft, OTAs and Training Camp, however.

Suck it, Cullk:

Jermichael Finley announced on his Twitter account Monday that he will return to the Packers in 2013. Finley will be paid a $3 million roster bonus on Wednesday, in addition to a $4.45 million salary, $300,000 workout bonus, and $500,000 in per-game roster bonuses. The total stands at $8.25 million.

Better sell more "ownership stock" to the fans.

I'd probably buy some. Mostly to be able to yell at Aaron Rodgers and tell him that I don't pay his salary to do whatever he did.

You could use it to line the bottom of a birdcage so they are easier to clean out.

So I think its pretty safe to say the Bears will not be taking an offensive tackle in the first 2 rounds this year. Still think speed WR is a real possibility with their 1st pick.

Anything is possible with the good moves Emery just made in free agency on both sides of the ball. With the first two picks, I'd like to see two of WR, G, LB. The great thing is though, if someone falls that absolutely shouldn't, we can jump on that no matter what position the guy plays.

@vxmcclure23: Kelvin Hayden expected to re_sign with Bears, according to source. Nothing official just yet.

I would rather they take a speed receiver later in the draft than reach for one in the first round. I don't think resigning Scott to a 1 year deal precludes them from selecting a tackle in the first two rounds, especially if someone they have slotted high falls into their lap.

They have 3 right tackles on the roster now. I just don't see it. Ya if Lane Johnson falls to 20 you have to make that move and figure it out later. I just think it crosses a guy like Fluker (who is a pure right tackle) off of their list.

Anthony Adams made a retirement video and posted it on YouTube, it's actually pretty funny...

Te'o ran a 4.71 & 4.75 clocked by Todd McShay at his pro day, FWIW. I'm not a big 40 guy by any means, but that's a pretty big improvement over that 4.8+.

Te'o is back in conversation as being picked around 20 after his pro day workout

I thought McShay was just a talking head... Does it make a difference that he was the one who clocked his times? Being off the slightest bit in an instance like this can have a huge perception.

Those times are still fairly slow for a line backer. Ogletree ran a 4.62

Not impressed considering he was supposed to be some physical freak.

I'm not saying they are great times by any means, but is that not a big improvement over his combine times?

Not sure when this was ever assumed.

People are putting too much stock in 40 time for a Linebacker. It isn't as important as it's being made out to be. He needs to have quickness and great lateral movement. It's very rare he will be running at full speed in a straight line (unless he's chasing a guy 40 yards downfield, in which case, that's the last of our problems).

4.7 is about average to slightly above average for a MLB. But the rest of his drills reportedly went very well. He could turn out to be a very good MLB in the NFL. He won't be the next Urlacher, but no one in this draft is, and the sooner fans realize that there may not BE another Urlacher anytime soon, the better off their will be.

We can get along just fine with a "good" MLB in this league. There are a lot of other people on the field too.

I still hope we manage to get Te'o. He would fit in well to our team and is that character/instinct player Emery wants to have on the roster.

Te'o in the second would be fine.

rather olgletree in the first if they went LB though.

i wouldn't mind a trade back i keep hearing 10-40 are pretty close if we could get a low first and a low second/third to move back i think thats a real option. not tooo far back but that would be good.

I don't think there's a pick there for us if a lineman doesn't fall.

I'd rather trade back, take the marginally less valued pick in Brown and add another pick.

Now this is a move I dont mind

Hayden at times when put on outside with Jennings out got burned but overall he was solid for Bears at Nickel
