There's got to be a market for Pyatt out there. Should be able to deal him for a pick at the least, and claim Jokinen. I could see Jokinen and Daugavins both being claimed. I think the Rangers are going to stand pat on the waiver wire today though, probably hope Zucc or Fast can fill in on that third line rather than JJ
I'm certain Rutherford knows that he'll be picked up by some lower seed Western Conference team.

im hoping for Daugavins and Jokinen get claimed and Boyle Pyatt and Gilroy waived or dealt..

Kreider Stepan Nash
Hagelin/ Richards Gaborik
Miller/Fast(?) Jokinen Callahan
Daugavins Powe Asham/Zuccarello

a much quicker lineup and not as slow....

Both quicker and not as slow? If it could make them speedier as well I'm in.

Has Jokinen's game really fallen off that much? To say I'm shocked he's on waivers is an understatement

Daugavins is only 24 years so he is worth a risk. maybe he improves... he has some talent.... hasnt put it together... everytime Sens play NYR he is usually involved somehow..

From listening to 1290 Winnipeg (really only station that talks nonstop hockey) it seems that the winnipeg had enough of Jokinen. They tried to get the powerplay going with him on the point and it was a disaster.

im hoping that if he gets claimed he replaces Pyatt or Boyle. would make the team alot quicker.. and he is awesome in the shootout.... some team will snatch him.. cheap contract also. Sens preparing for another move or maybe someone is getting off of the IR.....

I agree. I would pass on Jokinen though. If Zuccarello and Fast are to be given serious top 3 line minutes then there is no room for an inconsistent older player like Jokinen.

Don't worry. I made this same mistake two years ago and I got the **** flamed out of me.

So apparently, Iginla declined to talk with the media today. Hmmmmm.

JJokkinen is a good shootout and faceoff guy. I would get him to help get into the playoffs. But after that, I can see his game not standing up to the playoff rigors.

I'm biased, but Daugavins would be interesting on a line with Kreids and Miller, too

Quick, put Stepan on waivers so we can still trade him for JJ!
