Yes, me too. I was at the other blue line but at the very bottom of the second level so we got a really good look at it. I'd like to know why no one challenged the non call. I'd like someone to ask Laxdall that. They played on as if nothing unusual had happened. Even on the highlights it looked in but e p,Ayer on and no one from the OKs said anything. We might have win the game if that was ruled a goal.

Doesn't matter. The playoffs are are totally different. I think the OKs win the next game, then win the series 4-2. Talent wins out and they're the more talented team. Once they emerged from their slumber last night, they owned the margin of play. I do worry that the hot goalie can do me in like happened to the Golden Bears, however, but they should win this thing.

I know. Playoffs are a completely different animal but last night the Ice lulled the Oil Kings right back into the same trap that was successful for them all season long. It was a mirror image of their regular season games.

Not related to last night's game, but I have to ask:

Does anyone here see Travis Ewanyk as potentially having a future as a 4C for the Oilers? Obviously not in the immediate future, but maybe 3 yrs down the line?

I just really like his intensity and all around game.

I hear you but notice how dominant the OKs were when they got scared after going down 1-0. If that team shows up in Cranbrook, and I think it will, they should win at least one of the next two, then could win the series 4-2 as I believe they will.

Big game tonight boys. I really wish that this was on television instead of "Oilers Hockey."

Indeed!

The Kings' bus hit an elk on the way to Cranbrook. I hope that's a good omen. Let's hope the team runs over the Ice like the bus ran over that elk.

Me, too. I still think we win this series, 4-2. I was at both games and even Sunday once the Ice scored to take the lead in the third period, the OKs took control because they got the crap scared out of them. They're the better team and the better team generally wins.

My prediction tonight is OKs 4-2, and the Ice win the next game so we come home tied, then win the next two games.

Hoping game 2 was a wake up call, if they take game 3 I say they take the series 4-1.

Midway through the 1st period and there have been 4 goals already. 3-1 Oil Kings. St. Croix with two and Lazar with the other.

3-1 Oil Kings through 20 minutes. Shots 15-8 for the Oil Kings and there's a massive territorial discrepancy.

Yikes. The Saskatoon Blades are losing to the Tigers again: 4-0 after the 1st period. If they lose tonight they go down 3-0 in the series.

Dammit.

Yeah, it's a really surprising result after the Blades' massive success in the second half of the regular season. Their coach is probably climbing the walls in the dressing room.

I hope they are swept, it will look good on Lorne, only coach to have the Memorial Cup handed to him twice and he coaches his team out in the first round of playoffs.

I am pretty sure he had the Pats when they last hosted and they lost in the first round too.

Yup. Lorne has always struck me as a jackass.

4-1 Oil Kings as the fourth line strikes. Bertolucci with the goal.
