Yep. I have to watch the Canadiens on the French Manitoba CBC (the feed from RDS, or something).

Damn CBC and their Toronto bias..

Well let's not forget TSN also broadcasts extra Toronto games in the greater Toronto region.

"Combined with regional coverage of an additional 20 Toronto Maple Leafs games and national coverage of the first three rounds of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, TSN's announcement today reinforces that Hockey Lives Here!"

Being stuck in Winnipeg, all I get to see is the crappy leafs on CBC, unless they play Montreal!

Poor Glen Healy, he's going to have to suffer and whine his way through 9 Habs games!

If memory serves the Habs were on 13 times last season. I don't know the figures for the other Canadian teams but if I had to I'd take a guess that they lessened the Hab games to show more games from other Canadian teams, which is perfectly fine with me .

And as for CBC, well, as long as SRC simulcasts Habs games I'll be happy.

Sportsnet actually only shows teams in region. On the praries that means we get Calgary and Edmonton, I assume Pacific gets Vancouver.

Me too but SRC better change their ridiculous policy that the games have to start at exactly 7 pm. Nothing better than to be all hyped for the Habs game to come on and see some B.S movie interfering with my hockey viewing time because the game is in Minnesota and started at 7:30 instead of 7:00. Must've happend 5-6 times last year. If someone could explain to me why this is so that'd be great because I don't understand it.

True but if they are on Saturday then it will be CBC.

I remember that goal,I went to Ottawa twice last year, the game in October(Spezza Goal) and the game in January (Hasek 10 saves ).

Let me tell you that was 1 of the nicest goals I have ever seen live, but to tell you the truth,it was also the best game I attended last year.I saw about 15 games and that was the best one.The lead changed a few times and there was action at both end.It was really really worth the trip and already planned another 2 games there this year. There are alot of Habs fans in Ottawa/gatineau, but im pretty desapointed of the number of fans that make the trip there. Not many do the little 1 and a half hour drive

ha i know exactly what your talking about, and if your like me, the saturday night games are heaven, because i got antenna and those games are all i get.

could someone who speaks french go on the SRC website, and submit a comment or contact them, and ask them about their plans for Montreal games this year, and also if they plan to show games in HD or at least Widescreen on their HD channel?

thanks
