If you had to give B.Schenn a report card this year

How would it look?

I realize it's kinda tough because the team has been so bad. But how has Schenn been developing as a pro?

What is his upside?

Thanks Flyers Faithful!

Id say a C. He's been decent, struggled as Ive expected as a sophmore, but not bad. Hes a solid player I like very much, hopefully with time he continues to play with the edge he had in that Pittsburgh series

His goal scoring prowess always reminded me of Heatley a little, or as a contemporary maybe Jamie Benn.

What is the potential for Schenn....and is he working hard at becoming a solid pro, like all those kids who work out with Gary Roberts...?

Would you say he is "driven"

Probably a B minus. He played well earlier in the season, but his line has been pretty bad with Briere on it. Actually, the whole team has been pretty bad 5v5, so Im not sure I would hold it against him.

I will say that even when he isn't playing that well offensively, he is usually still noticeable due to his physical play.

This is ridiculous. This guy is in only his second season (I'm not counting his nine total games in a Kings uniform). He's got 19 points in 30 games and brings a great physical presence. I'll have lost a lot of faith in the organization if they decide to trade Brayden Schenn.

He's been inconsistent but so has the whole team. Overall Id give him a B - / C+. Personally, and I might catch some flack for this, but I think he's more talented offensively than Mike Richards and has the potential to be 70 - 80 pt player regularly. His defensive game could still use improvement though.

B+. He's been stuck playing with so many different linemates and is still 4th on the team in scoring in his 2nd season.

I think we're figuring out that Schenn won't be an explosive or flashy scorer, but he'll undoubtedly get his points and plenty of hits. Consistency is his biggest knock

B+ Im expecting a 21 year old to be consistently inconsistent but his streaks were long when he was good close to a PPG or over for long periods of time

i think hes driven, but i dont think everyone on this team has been on the same page and lately they all look defeated.

Inconsistent like the whole team. This has been a lost year for everyone.

B-. Briere has been dragging his line down recently, so he has a chance to make that a B+.

B

His beast mode has shown up a few times, which is really exciting. I'm fine with his current sophomore performance.

B/B+

Great hitter, but he's not the fastest guy and he's not gonna thrive in Lavy's system

If he played in a more rangers style system, I think he'd be a A caliber guy, maybe like a smaller version of pronger.

He has been good this season, team has sucked in general

B, I don't think he's been good this year, but he is still young.

C+ he has shown flashes, gone through a lot of different line mates, and been ok.

B+. I would of gave him an A but he is pointless in like 10 straight...

He has really become a beast. I still want to see him improve his puck control along the boards but there isnt many more physical players in the league. He finishes a player off literally EVERY chance he has and is a damn good hitter also. His offensive skills and insticts are great, something you cant teach. He will be our 3rd best forward in a year or two. He is a stud
