Halpern looked great on the 4th line. MUCH better than White. I hope we go get a fwd that can play with Eller and Galchy so we see Moen-Halpern-Prust on the 4th line. They can easily play 10-12 good minutes. If we want to have success, we need 4 good lines (which means, Armstrong/White out of the lineup).

Still want Stewart.
Pacioretty is too injury prone to be throwing hits every shift and playing a full power game. He's changed his game into a hybrid sniper with occasional power.

New guy in a new team syndrom. So far so good, this first period played by Halpern is the perfect example of what was missing on that 4th line. That being said, considering his age and usual style of play, I doubt he will keep playing like this. But the way he plays now is exactly what I felt was missing on our 4th line.

98,5 is interviewing.. err.. a Habs Development pro or a Coach from the AHL. Not sure, but he talked of Nathan Beaulieu (said he still needed time to work on his positioning) and said the current prospect that really impressed him is Darren Dietz!!

They're kinda right, though. We're having a great season compared to last season but I don't think we're at Boston's or Pittsburgh's level yet. Giving up a top prospect for a top rental (Iginla) wouldn't be a good move for us.

Yup, and we could still improve our team with all of those late picks we have.

I couldn't agree more with what you're saying. Hopefully Therrien can make him maintain that kind of play for the rest of the year.

What's wrong with what they said, Habs should wait. 30 games of good play coming off a 3rd overall pick finish vs team that have been playing top level for years and won cups with their core.

Pretty slow GDT for a game between the two best teams in the East.

We were talking about being a gamebreaker though. Not about being power forward.

But to me the "we might not be as good next year" argument doesn't really work. It's a gamble game at this point I guess.
