Backcheck by Johnson on Kaleta was pure brilliance. Kid does NOT look like a rookie, lol.

None of them do. What do we do when the guys on IR get healthy?

Kaleta with another quality dive.

5'8" Johnson on his back and he falls over for no reason. Wish to hell players could get suspended for diving.

Lol Chief, "oh come on, ugh" in response to the weak call on TJ.

If anything, that should've been called for embellishment, not the first one. Stammer deserved that crosscheck.

You gotta love Conacher's vision with the puck. When he has the puck, he's going to find someone. Unreal.

Also love seeing Palat and Killorn killing penalties.

LOL Dinger...

"Stamkos ripped it top shelf where momma hides the cookies."

Dinger has come into his own over the past season during the intermissions.

Kaleta had two pretty embellishments, one pretty obvious, one not so much. Guess which the refs called?

That phrase was made seriously famous by Rick Jeanneret. Oddly enough, as the PBP guy for the Sabres. But you're right about Dinger looking and sounding much better on air. I listen to his radio show every morning as well. He's fantastic.

Also, not sure if this is out there yet, but Jon Cooper is watching the game with Steve Yzerman tonight.

I know winning is nice... but we're comfortably in the bottom 3. I wouldn't mind sitting here a little longer.

I'm aware... I thought it was funny considering we were playing the Sabres. Pretty sure it was deliberate.

You know, while we're playing a fairly conservative game, its nice not seeing us give up 8 odd man rushes by the halfway point.

Well the boxscore for the first period is misleading: "SHG".

Yeah there's something wrong with nhl.com and the forum's electronic tracker/board. Apparently sog hasn't been tracked either because of it.

The tape on Garon's stick keeps making me think the puck went in. It's confusing.
