I'd take Tavares over Giroux personally because of his goal scoring prowess. But you really can't go wrong here. Giroux gets alot of phantom assists. Like tonight for example.

He definitely has potential to be, but not top 5.

Crosby
Malkin
Weber
Karlsson
Stamkos
Datsyuk
Lundqvist
H.Sedin
Letang
Price/Quick/Rinne
Point is, to expect Nash to put up Tavares numbers is lofty.

No question. Rick Nash isn't on an elite tier like the Girouxs Tavares Kovalchuks Lundqvists, etc.

Slats needs to trade Boyle so Torts can't have a hard on for him anymore.

I made a bet during one game this season that I'd name my first born son after the Ranger that scores a PP goal.

Stepan scored that night.

As of these past 15 games, I'm totally cool with a Derek.

Meh I dont even know why I posted that. It's done now and he was a marginal guy here.... Glad to see him doing alright his first game there, but he was part of the problem.

Imagine if kreider committed that penalty that boyle did he would be in the AHL before the end of the third period. Thankfully he is playing like he never wants to go there again

LOL exactly. NHL.com loves to give Giroux his secondary phantom assists. I'm sure he's cool with it. He can say hey I scored 93 points last season! When in reality, it was really closer to 78.

If your kid comes out and trips the nurse you have to call him Brian

Still plenty of time for the useless turds (i.e. Torts' BFFs) Boyle, Pyatt, Richards, Girardi, and Eminger to blow the game.

Boyle needs to be traded to save Tortorella from himself. Like taking booze out of an alcoholics house.
