Changing up the lines is needed imo. Gallagher on that line with Eller and Galchenyuk tomorrow vs. Boston would be ideal.

it's rare you shoot over 35 without one going in.
nothing to see here, lets move on.

The loss of Bourque and Diaz is hurting the team now more than ever.

The offense has lost its fuel.

Having a guy that can break the game open like Gaborik would be really nice for those games you just need someone to make a goal out of nothing. That and when there's chances nobody ****ing buries.

3 defeats in the last 4 games, including 2 in regulations.

If we had to point out a late-season slump, that would be the time. Don't git up boys, we know our guys are better than that.

Ryder, don't hit the posts!

When you outplay a team but don't have much to show for it, there's a good chance that other team comes back and wins.

Patches either needs to sit a game or get dropped down a line because his compete level right now is unacceptable.

Not blaming the loss over one player, but Gionta has been killing lots of plays in the offensive zone either by making a dump, a useless pass or a missed slapshot. Pacioretty also needs to play smarter.

The players should be more creative instead of doing the dump-and-chase which never worked tonight.

Not a bad game overall tho.

Crappy game.
Only Pleks line and Halpern showed up.
Overall it wasn't a fun game to watch. Pretty boring loss.

Score Zero goals?

Blame Price.

Seriously though, this team is having some pretty terrible puck luck, probably to counteract the luck they had at the beginning of the year. Still, they're really missing the physical dimension that Prust and Bourque brought.

We outplayed them in the frist two badly yet they scored a goal.

Horrible 3rd period but overall we deserved to win.

Sadly it's not what happened.

Desharnais is so terrible it ain't even fun. Gionta was putrid but at least he tried unlike Paciorretty and Desharnais who were tourists on the ice.

Can someone explain why on earth Georges and Bouillon are on the powerplay, like wtf's the point. Is subban and Markov that exhausted that they cant play for both units, like cmon, a tired Markov and Subban is already better than 2 defensive defensemen.

Disgrace. The entire team let Cooke go after our Captain without doing a damn thing.

Intimidated by Cooke.

Who was the guy that said this team really doesn't need Prust?

Not when Pittsburgh had a lot more quality shots on the net.

Man, I already miss that team that scores goals by sheer will and determination, attacking the net like crazy. I think that was gradually lost with Prust out. Now, when they can't score the nice goals, due to hot goalie or bad luck, they have no plan B.

we can play with this team, we could have won this one with a few bounces, i don't think they are 2-3x better than us like some have posted.
