Mini-slump coming? Feels like it. Prust can't come back fast enough. We need a spark asap. Played pretty well overall but there are some guys really slowing down of late, notably Pacioretty.

This is the kind of game where our lack of size up front is showing. They weren't giving us much.

On the plus side, Price was excellent and Halpern proved himself useful.

since gionta ryder and pleks are not willing to carry the team, pacioretty needs to throw it on his back and get hot again or we will be passed by both ottawa and toronto.

it's sad when our best offensive threat is pk subban.

still, not a bad performance and a best of 7 would be a long series with both teams healthy.

Gorges has no place in a PP. He should be the last dman considered to be there. Patches and Desharnais need a wake up big time.

Start giving the Eller line more ice time and put Bgally there.

And I'm sure you're happy about that. I see a team that is missing some key players who happened to be injured. I'm not too mad about this one. Pittsburgh is the best team in the league right now and just edged us out.

Put Emelin on the point on the PP, remove Bouillon.

Gionta is useless.

MaxPac and DD have been non-existent over the last little while.

Eller needs more icetime.

Amrstrong has to go back to the 4th line.

Need Bourque, Diaz and Prust back QUICK!

Meh, sucks we got shutout, but we did put a fair amount of rubber on net.

Considering the opponent, I'm not that pissed about this loss.

Price was great, liked Pleks line, and Halpern had a very good first game. DD and Pacioretty played pretty bad. Dominated 1st and 2nd, came out flat in the 3rd.

It's funny seeing the TSN wouldn't shut up about how good he was for "stopping" Crosby. He was average really but that line no showed horribly. This may have been Gallagher's worst game.

Give him Galchenyuk or Eller as his centre, Desharnais is just dragging that whole line down

I think if we met the Pens in a playoff series we'd probably go out in 5 games. They're a good team especially with Crosby in the line-up. Malkin will probably be back by the playoffs too. We just don't have the horses to go up with these guys.

There isn't a really dynamic offensive player among our forwards. We can't keep counting on Marky and Subban to generate all our offense.

I feel like we're a really good team, but a notch below where the Pens are but above a lot of the Eastern conference teams.

Our 1st back-to-back loss of the season. Hopefully, the boys can win against the Bruins tomorrow.

Then go cheer for another team...we dominated most of this game and were a bounce away from at least getting a point...you must lead a miserable existence.

Pens beat Boston like this twice if I'm not mistaken.
Boston dominated the first two periods and Pittsburgh dominated the 3rd.

Looks like a late season mini-slump where we just aren't getting the bounces. It happens. I'm not worried.

Pittsburgh made us look like an AHL team.

They are clearly a class above us and out-classed us in every single facet of the game.

Nothing to be mad about... they are just a MUCHHHH better team.

I'd like to see PK unleashed. He's a game breaker. Let him carry the puck more and push the play more.
