The coaching staff needs to show Kreider this game anytime he forgets what is going to make him successful in this league.

This. But still a nice win.

Gee Hags-Step-Nash worked. Who'da thunk it.

Mr. T seen scoring a goal on the 150. Showing more competence than Brian Boyle.

I'm not convinced that he didn't tell the puck he was going to murder it and it's entire pucking family if it didn't go in.

Yup exactly. I think Boyle was literally filling that role tonight until zucc gets here. Once that switch is made I see some lines that could actually stick. We just know that won't happen...

Boyle was OK tonight, but he's a 4th liner. Pyatt is awful and should be replaced ASAP

Agreed. Tough matchups.

first line was amazing.. just to think those 3 could be playing together for a long time..

shout out to kreider for big goal.. looks a lot better this time around.. a ton of confidence..

1-Stepan
2-Nash
3-Richards, big 2p game.. much need effort.. needs to build on this

Lol who just saw MSG accidentally cut to Maloney staring down into his microphone, unaware that he was live, then rough cut back to Pidto in the studio. Lol Maloney looked up at the last minute it was pretty funny.

i like the way the roster's shaping-up. just need mcilrath and i think they're set. as long as torts stops with the darth vader act and allows the guys to pla more free and creatively on offense.

hagelin - stepan - nash
krieder - richards - gaborik
zuccarello - miller - callahan
asham/powe - boyle - fast/pyatt

Stepan Nash and Hagelin is such a great line, makes no sense that they were broken up in the first place. Richards and Kreider on the 3rd line could solve our depth scoring problems if they plug Zucc or Gabby on the RW on that line instead of Boyle. Not that Boyle played bad, I actually think he played well tonight, but him on the 4th line makes it a line that Torts can trust for more than 3 minutes a night

i think boyle's fine...as a fourth line center and occasionally moving up for defense/relief. 3-4 shifts per period. too much exposure and his weaknesses get exploited.
