Buchnevich is not playing in KHL playoffs, but still played 12 games and was 1 + 1.

Maybe a 2nd rounder? Possibly 3rd rounder... Lightning though could pose a problem with letting him fall.

For once, get some size. Get that big dude, Tyler Hill. Get Will Sherman. Concentrate on that in rounds 3-5.

Tampa already starts to produce jerseys with his name.

There's like 3 teams I could see him going to and me hating him, and Tampa is for sure one.

Woodlief's latest.

I've been on the Wennberg train for a while. Him and Horvat make for excellent Swiss Army knife forwards in the 10-20 range.

Glad to see the Lazar commentary. That's still my mid-1st guy.

How good is this Darnell Nurse guy? Flyers fans seem to be nuts about him. If we end up missing out on the big 6 (Mac, Jones, Drouin, Barkov, Monahan and Lindholm) is this a guy we would want at say the #8, 9 or 10 pick?

Nurse seems like a big, mean, physical Dman. I would like the caps to grab if they cant get anyone better. 6'5 and fights and hits.

Yep, McNabb's nephew. After that top group (incl. Nichushkin) it's Nurse & Shinkaruk as far as upside goes. Nurse is rangy, mobile, agile, has offensive upside and some snarl. He could go as early as #5 if a team really covets his game. A case could be made for him as BPA vs. Lindholm/Monahan.

Shinkaruk isn't all that big but he plays a fairly energetic game. There may be some risk there that leads to him not quite being in the mix with that top group but I think the upside outweighs it. The Caps tend to side with upside--notwithstanding Wilson which was something of a luxury selection--and he offers quite a bit. Outside of that top nine-ish it's pretty jumbled and there may be ten or twelve players on pretty equal footing.

Yeah I'm a draftnik...but Langway is a pro-hfboard level I'm not going to attain in my dotage. I blame age and the general ambivalence that comes with it. Strike that...nothing to blame but my own ambilvalence.

Barkov injured, probably done for SM-Liiga playoffs.

Also, yes lets draft Donovan McNabbs nephew, he's getting hyped for the same reasons McNabb was hyped.

Remember Dumba? Great skating, hard hitting. Hyped to all hell.

Turns out his pivot and backwards skating is terrible.

We got moderated. Oh well. Do you agree with the notion that McNabb was overhyped? I really have no idea.

Well Mcnabb is from Chicago and ill bet some pretty good young hockey players are coming out of that area right now.

As far as on the field play was concerned Mcnabb until his decline was a beast. The ONE year he had a legit reciever he looked great. Now his off field stuff....not a fan.

If Nurse has the athletic gifts his uncle had while having some hockey iq id pick him. However Mcphees track record for big defenders isnt great. Could he possibly take the mean streak away from this kid and make him Shultz 1.5?

Lol im soo waisis tho...boy I love everything Pk Subban brings to the game. Hes got ten goals and he held out part of the season. Plus hockey needs some swag..screw the stand up canadian right way.

McNabb is part of the high end of mediocrity. He wasn't borderline elite or elite like he was touted to be.

He took the Eagles to only their second SB in their miserable history. What more do you want?
