Pens up 1 to 0 and I so expect Habs to get a typical timy pp.

Bruins need to take advantage tomorrow.

I so want to see the Bruins with a solid game and a solid win.

Pens did us a favor tonight by beating the habs 1-0.
Now the B's have to do themselves a favor tomorrow night by beating Montreal.

Is it just me or has it been a while since we've watched a good, rousing, adrenaline-packed hockey game? I feel like we've been sailing through the equatorial hockey doldrums for weeks now, just grinding through these dispiriting, rarely fully satisfying, at times vaguely anemic affairs, trying to cheer on a team that at times seems composed of confused AHLers at one of the bench and uninspired wingers at the other. I exaggerate, of course, but what I'm getting at is that we (and the team) could really use a hot-blooded bout tomorrow, something to build on from the Lucic goal last night. In fact, it looks like the Habs too, coming off a string of losses, could use a shot in the arm as well. Let's hope the teams both come to play at a feverish pitch tomorrow, let's hope pride and anger get the skates going, let's hope Nathan Van Winkle wakes up from his languid dreams and remembers what it was like to snipe past Price in a playoff series now seemingly so long, long ago.

(I won't ask, "Is this too much to ask?" this time, because I know where that gets me...)

Never was a fan of cheering for other teams to do our work,,,,but yeah, **** them! B's should go into heat sinking missile mode,,,,was clear tonight when the Pitt got physical along the boards and behind the net, mtl was completely distabilized and worried more about not getting hit than playing the puck,,,

As well....is it just me, or did Pitt just put it into cruise control for most of the game.....seemed like they were toying with them....if that is the case, that Pitt team is scary!!!

I hope the boys are ready for this one. Very important game to put our stamp on. Get control of first and send a message at the same time. They'll hopefully be a little extra tired so the boys need to play a hard hitting game.

Part of the reason for Montreal's success is the mobility of their D Corp. Subban,
Markov, Gorges and the other Russian (Yemelin? ) are mobile and handle the puck well.
Tough to hit when the puck is moved.

I really hope someone goes after ***** ass Gionta tonight before he injures another goaltender. He injured Fleury last night by pushing a player on top of him and concussed Reimer a couple of years ago with a nasty headshot.

It`s been a while since the B`s played that way consistently but only last Saturday against the Caps that they played like that. Our boys getting hammered here and much of it earned, but I have watched probably 6-7 of the Pens 13 game win streak, and to say that they have been playing great during that stretch isn`t true. I listened to Shero yesterday on PrimeTime sports here and he said exactly the same, although an impressive stretch, he essentially said his team has played far from consistent hockey, and he mentioned that outside of a 5-10 minute stretch here and there, they have dominated nobody.

Of course, with a guy like Crosby, it only takes 5-10 mins to win a game
