kuddos to the CBC for stepping up and regionalizing their coverage.

I guess all the protesting paid off.

This is the best HNIC sced in many years in terms of representing the entire country

Hint for Habs fans who want games in english:

1.Order RDS on satellite or cable.
2. Buy extention chords for your computer speakers... and set em up near your TV (if your computer is reasonably close to your TV)
3. Turn your TV volume down...
4. Find a radio stream of the Habs game on net' (can be found easily on NHL.com)

Volia'! All 82 habs games in English.

I had a friend who did this and it worked suprisingly well.

We got the best coverage in the league for another year. We are the only team to have EVERY games nationwide. Thanx RDS/SRC!

RDS rules i have it in ottawa at school.
As for the computer speakers thing yeah that does not work very well if you want to hear the commentary anywhere near the actual game it is similar to Neale doing the games on Saturday night wayyyyyyyyyyyy behind the play.

As for the CBC I am happy they are spreading the wealth!

I can't stand that, it's like a 30 second delay. Just awful, plus after a couple years you'll pick up most of the French used to call the play even if you knew no french whatsoever going in.

You need a PVR to do it right. You pause the "live" game on RDS during a pass and you synchronize it with your internet radio feed when you hear the guy talking about the pass.

Please note that you can also sync it with a broken stick from Souray (easy) or a hit from Ribeiro (much harder, but you will be better in french at the end).

Must've happend 5-6 times last year. If someone could explain to me why this is so that'd be great because I don't understand it.

I know how you feel
