Btw, how did you get over 7000 posts in about a year?
I just celebrated my 1000 posts a little while ago, and I was super happy.

20 posts a day for a year. Not that hard, but consistency is key.

When I was really young, I had an unhealthy addiction to neopets.

I still remember some things about the site when it first started up.

This game made an excellent substitute for a night life during high school for me. Got it in Grade 8, loved that game!

When I was younger, I watched X Men: The Animated Series and ReBoot. Such great shows. The latter was made in Vancouver.

^ Great kids shows. The Reebot spinoff was bad.... Loved the medieval episode. Oh and this:

That and the classic lines: "Hey Al two shakes."

"What?!?!"

When you were timed to get out of the reactor, my friend would always make me do it because it freaked him out.

Please Mr C, make me a promise. Don't raise your kids on the garbage tv that is on right now aimed at children. All the shows with real kids like Suite Life or Hanna Montana. Show them the shows we grew up with.

When I was really young, a site was a place where construction was done.

One of my first gifts for Jr. Was the complete Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers Series on DVD. I'm all over it!

Oh thank god. They are in capable hands.

Just wait till they get into He-Man and Thundercats, both old and new versions.

I used to spend days on that site. Would make my Neopets starve because I knew they wouldn't die and I would save money that way.

Anyone remember the remake of Johnny Quest they made in the 90s? Watched that a fair bit, and loved the intro theme.

How old are you? Wait, how old am I? That game doesn't feel like it was that long ago.

Here's another one that came out right as I was entering high school.

Loved that game.

If we're going back to elementary school, however - this one was huge in the arcades, and I actually owned it for my SNES.

I remember playing that.

[internet high five]

Anyone remember Knights of the Round?

Another arcade game I loved. I'm beginning to realize just how badly I miss arcades...those dark little rooms of awesomeness where you could go in and just play video games until you ran out of quarters.

UBC used to have a wicked arcade down in its Student area; we used to frequent it after going to the pool. Of course, the grand daddy of them all was the Playdium in Metrotown. I was very sad when that place shut down.
