In the right role and with controlled minutes, I love the addition of Murray. kind of reminds of me of when we got Laraque.

In the other hand, I hate the price. Overpaid massively. Shockingly overpaid to be honest.

Normally, I'd be ecstatic about the acquisition but the cost completely deflated the pleasure of acquiring The Hulk.
Actually, I'm more disappointed than happy about the addition.

Man, I feel like I just got off a roller coaster of emotions. Need to hug it out man? It's ok to be scared, I think we're all a bit scared of the unknown. Just know you have a few dozen shoulders to lean on.

We'll get through this. Together.

Oh, so we can get involved in THAT bidding war?

I'd rather move a 2nd to shore up a very specific need with Murray than have to outbid 20 teams on 7/1 and offer him 2-3M for 3 years. And then hope that we need him for that entire contract.

The reaction continues to be mind blowing. All over a couple of draft picks when we're right in the thick of a season where we have a legitimate (not BS Vegas odds) chance of winning the Cup. I'm still amazed.

All the fans should chant "Doug! Doug!" to send him into Hulk SMASH! mode in his debut.

Smart move guys. And you did not overpay. Take it from a Sabres fan that has been broken so many times. No goal hurt in 99, but that's because the league did not want to enforce rules. What hurt just as much was when injuries took a toll on us during our playoff runs in the mid 2000s. You can never have to many defencemen for a cup run.

Apparently arrived in Pittsburgh last night and stopped by Consol.

He looks like Rick Nash ate Kris Letang.

If Murray isn't signed by another team after the season ends, the Steelers are in need of an OLB to replace James Harrison.
