I am surprised that goal by Burmistrov was allowed. I don't think it should have been.

Really like how Jordan and Eric are wearing visors because of what happened to Marc. Would be funny if Marc decided not to wear one though after he's all healed

Both goalies with a shutout in Van-CBJ.

Meanwhile, Hank can't buy one because pucks deflect off of skates and faces.

CBJ participates in their 2nd dual-shutout in the last 10 days. I wonder what the smallest gap was previously between 0-0 ties or 1-0 shootouts.

Kris Letang is not lucky. A broken toe is the new injury. Lower body still hurting. #penguins #RDS

The neck of Marc-Andre Fleury was sore after being hit last night. We'll know later if the injury is serious or not. #penguins #RDS
Pens are hurting after last night. The Rangers need to start winning so they don't face a healthy Pens team in Round 1.

P.A. Parenteau is a PPG player

31 Games

14 Goals

17 Assists

31 points...

Given away for nothing. Disposed like garbage.

The Avalanche and the Islanders were such awesome teams with him, too. Man alive. World beaters! I bet we wish to be that good and have PAP here. I'd trade it all!

He was 26 years old, underwhelming in his stint in the NHL, and behind Gaborik and Callahan on the depth chart. At that time, he was top-6 or bust and looking more like bust every day. He got extremely lucky to play in that role alongside Tavares, an opportunity he never would've gotten here no matter what, and was able to parlay that into further development of his abilities.

I'm not begrudging any of the decisions made in regards to PAP. He just wasn't the right fit.

I liked him when he played here because of his wacky super-French name and because he plays with a bit of an edge for a skill player, but I don't think anyone had reason to expect him to be anything more than an NHL roster filler.

He's doing well, he's working hard, and good for him, but he sure as hell didn't show signs of being a first line player here. It would be like Erik Christensen magically "turning it on" after leaving here - you can't blame management for not seeing what wasn't there.

Sorry but I think you guys are just wrong. I saw a player with boatloads of talent. He just needed to develop. Can you honestly say he was given a fair shot? We gave up on him way too quickly.

PA makes the most of his chances, being that he's in those positions frequently. Kind of like Mikael Samuelsson when he played with some great teams.

In no way is he a difference maker, he's a complimentary piece that won't stick more than a few seasons on one team for a reason.
