Which team(s) you expect to stand pat on the deadline?

Which team (s) do you expect to make absolutely no moves, not even place or claim a player on the waiver, in the next week?

Islanders. We're still in it so I doubt we sell, especially with GM Snow reportedly trying re-sign Streit, Visnovsky, Nabakov, and perhaps Boyes. That said, under our cheap ass owner I doubt the Isles trade any assets away, simply does not fit the MO of the team.

the Ducks made a small move with Dvorak. they'd probably be wise to kick around at another defenseman... ideally, one with a little term.

i agree that Pittsburgh is probably done.

i also agree that Chicago and the Kings are likely to stand pat... i think both would like to add a piece or two, but neither should be willing to pay some of the current asking prices.

Minnesota will stand pat. No reason to sell off vets when you need them for the playoffs. No reason to bring in anyone that would just get in the way of a rookie gaining valuable playoff experience.

Yeah, Anaheim might make a move if they stay on a skid, but we'll see.

Bergevin has been clear that he does not want to sell any future assets. With the market being how it is, i would be surprised if MTL made more than one minor trade.

I don't expect the Leafs to make any moves. If anything, perhaps they pick up a depth forward or defender. Nothing big.

I'll be surprised if New Jersey does anything.

I think the Sens will be quiet unless it's acquiring a long term player. I don't expect Murray to get any rentals.

Plus Anderson and Spezza will be back soon, that's like making a blockbuster trade adding them back and Jared Cowen could play some games before the playoffs too.

Blues probably won't make a move. They have all the depth-type players so only that big LHD makes sense to add, and the prices will likely make Armstrong balk.

I heard Shero's still hitting the phones hard looking for more deals according to LeBrun.

Don't worry, that's what the Flames did last year.

I don't see the Leafs doing anything.

Not going to make a deep run if they do get in, but do need some tradeable guys to make sure they get there. Will probably hold pat and see what the group can do.

I fear that the Sabres will do little or none, because "we're still in it".
