I read something that Mike Miss had said and it made me mad that this guy has the ability to deliver slop to thousands of people. What's going on?

going down the roster, saying how were a bunch of goons and hardnose fighters lol.

saying no one is a difference maker except giroux.

we are stuck in a 1970's mindset etc etc
organization needs to change, so on and so on
its time for an organizational overhaul where we stop employing all former flyers to run the teams

We don't.

People are too flipping impatient. That is the problem.

Schenn has been ok, Couts hasn't stepped up. We needed them to breakout...not a reasonable expectation of that happening IMO.

Briere being a no show didn't help either.

I would love to hear a rationalization of how Matt Read, Briere, Voracek and Gagne are goons.

says gagne offers nothing, matt read is a nice complimentary player but he is not a game changer. he went down the roster and said no one is a difference maker except giroux lol. like other teams are just loaded with difference makers.

The only people on our radio that seem to understand anything about hockey are Keith Jones and Al Morganti.

97.5 is also a joke to me. I can't remember if I've ever listened to a show on that station without angrily turning it off at how ridiculous the hosts or the callers were being.

I don't see a whole lot wrong with this.
Gagne is good defensively, but not physical enough to play a bottom 6 role.

glad i'm not hearing it. voracek has shown he can be a difference maker for decent stretches...like you know, the playoffs, when the games matter most. guy sounds like a moron. the only reason they have a job is because their bosses know even less on the subject but i would say almost everyone on this flyers board is better suited for his job

It's better than Tony Bruno saying that Couturier was a bust earlier and they need to trade him now.

right, but when you need to fill a spot on the roster, and you can get gagne for a low draft pick at pretty much no cost, you plug him in.

Don't get me wrong I am a fan of the acquisition.
He just isn't helping this team right now.

He's definitately not the biggest problem, though.

I really enjoy Mikey Miss' show (probably my favorite for sports radio in Philly). Although I don't agree with everything he is saying (pretty similar to what Tony Bruno was saying) he makes some good points we all know, like Ed snider pulling the strings and such.

No better than WIP, IMO

I actually like 97.5 much better than WIP, except in the morning, Angelo cracks me up sometimes.

Because one guy, ONE GUY said we need more Rinaldos and Simmonds on our teams, suddenly the whole fanbase thinks we only need those "type" of players and we are stuck in the "70's mentality." Really kinda frustrating because I don't agree with that at all.

Brian Startare isn't bad, but I don't know if he's on anymore. Macnow is ok, as is Didinger, but that's more for old hockey stories than current analysis.

I wouldn't mind if our players had heart like them two but not exactly their whole skill sets.
