Cardinals are holding a fan vote to decide their Road hats.

It was originally announced back in November when they unveiled their Alts that the red hat would be used on the Road with the Navy relegated to ALT status being used vs. other red teams and/or on getaways days.

Now they're letting the fans decided: Navy all the time, Red all the time, Red with Navy only against other red times or Red with Navy only on getaway.

Personally I always liked the Navy hats and was kinda upset when they announced they'd be going Red on the road, but the Red on Gray does look good, so now I want it used in some capacity. I wish their was an option to keep the Navy but use Red on getaway days.

Wouldn't be the first time a jays pitcher had to go back to the minors to work on his mechanics. Roy something-something was his name I think. I feel it will be a longer road back for Ricky though. Good thing AA built up starter depth so it doesn't hurt the team.

Great to hear Miller made the Cards starting rotation. I was wondering if they'd ease him in through the pen first.

Love the look of the red on grey. The contrast makes the uniform 'pop' a little more. I still like the navy as another option but the red is still my favourite.

Really? It's the exact same Navy blue as the Tigers, Yankees and Red Sox.

Probably safe to assume he'll be on a short leash.

You do know this, correct? The fact that Rio's turned the corner under the watchful eye of Kenny Williams instead of toiling away his talents for a team with no chance at winning their own division doesn't diminish his impact while as a member of the White Sox.

The Jays have their own problems. Alex Rios sure wasn't one of them.
Facts are facts. And the fact is his two best seasons were with the Blue Jays. His two worst (partial 2009 and full 2011) were with the White Sox. Tell me, it the sox developed his talents, why was his 2011 season so awful? This should be good.

Bautista patrols right field for the Jays. No need for the inferior Rios.

Grienke got roughed up in his first start since he experienced elbow pain.

His best season was last year, fact. While leading the White Sox to the top of their division for almost the entire year. 2011 has been documented he had a wrist injury yet still played thru it, which was refreshing considering how lax management was in Toronto when it came to injuries and the need to just keep at least three players on the DL, it seems. Good thing bad habits didn't follow him to Chicago.

But, considering AS will place Adam Dunn in the HOF, surely they just aren't that bad.

The Sox have Dunn to either hit a home run, walk, or strike out, pretty much negating Bautista and what he brings to the table while healthy. Rios does a whole lot more and sadly, had a better year then the very fragile Jose.

Did I mention advanced stats will put Dunn in the HOF? Didn't say a thing about Bautista, just sayin.

Do the Red Sox still play exhibition games against the Boston College baseball team?

Any Boston fans here think Jackie Bradley Jr. makes the team out of spring training or do they wait to call him up for contractual reasons? He's tearing it up a lot sooner than I thought he would. He was my favorite player when he was at South Carolina, still can't believe he didn't go in the 1st round.

Only because of that wrist injury. Before that he was a lock to go in top half of the 1st round.

Loved him with Gamecocks. Shame he's with Red Sox now. One of my favorite players.

Looks like he has made the team.

The Red Sox Thursday night informed outfielder Ryan Sweeney they would not be purchasing his contract.

Barring some kind of surprise, it would appear that 22-year-old Jackie Bradley Jr. has made the roster and will open the season with the Sox.

Thanks for the info. Very nice, congrats JBJ!

Forgot all about his wrist, but I guess Boston is happy about that because it caused him to slip all the way to them.

Ryan Sweeney is a great outfielder. It's too bad he has Daric Barton syndrome at the plate.

Turned on the angel game just in time to see trout come to the plate. Worked the count full, then jacked a three run homer. Can't wait for the season to start, it's too bad the pitching will probably cost the division.
