anyone listening to 690? Nilan sounds hungover and Randy is just way too cheesy.

I like Nilan and its great that he has his own show but he needs to do shows with Connor Mckenna (spelling?).

Dude, he's punch drunk and he's an alcoholic. I'm surprised they even let him in the studio without an escort.

I know you guys all HATE marinaro, but I'm really missing him on the radio..

He really is entertaining to listen to.

But that's why he has so much potential. People love drunk radio but not when you pair them with the ''oh golly'' Randy's.

Randy should stick to work that requires a teleprompter... Nilan should be hosting all his shows at Hurley's.

They did the same thing with PJ Stock years ago. Stock wasn't that horrible when he was just a guest with Melnick. Mind you, Knuckles isn't at all obnoxious compared to PJ but I just don't think he makes for a good host. As a second banana, sure, no problem at all. Stock was also a bad host, personality aside. Another guy who makes a great sidekick.

Who know we'd wind up missing Marinaro?

i dont know about you guys but i actually enjoy listening to Nilan

yes he is a little slow, but i feel that he goes more in depth on the habs on and off the ice and brings something different to the station as a former player

i think he just needs a little more time getting comfortable hosting his own show

i'm ok with Nilan as long as he sounds a bit more 'peppy lol'. I found / find Tieman to be an insufferable idiot. Inarticulate, ill-prepared, know-nothing except golf. A goof. Glad he's off the midday show. Reminds me of the middle-age uncle at the BBQ talking sports. Tieman is proof-positive of a 'good-guy' who made it in the industry and kept his contacts. But not good enough to ever leave a local market and make it nationally. Guy can't string a sentence together. how many ****ing times does he say 'and all that...' when he can't finish a ****ing thought

yea i agree.. today was tough and that was while i kept getting interrupted at work..somone needs to know he is better for 20 minutes then 2-3 hours. but also as mentioned he is alot better then most when talking locker room or on ice stuff. like today when he chose when to fight against bruins. he made sure it was early enough so he could get ice time later

yea talking about knuckles. think he was talking with bourque about montreal boston games and how he knew their guys would want to fight so he had to make sure it was at a point in game where he knew he got enough ice time. was pretty interesting.

i put 690 on my phone and listen on way to work and at work. but overall the show was tough today. he really sounded out of it. talk radio is a challenge and you need to be interesting every minute you are on.

I thought I was going to enjoy Nilan's 1-3 show but... it's just not very good. He needs someone else to help him host the show.
