Just about done with that Reyka vodka I got a few pages back. I initially bashed it but overall I liked it.

Any new recommendations? Vodka or rum, I suppose.

I like that stuff. Most girl-friendly beer I like. Careful though. They go down like soda. Before you know it, you're eight deep and feeling pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Yeah, I'm an admitted wimpy beer drinker (Coors Light) and I drink alot of the Smirnoff Ice, Mike's Hard Lemonade stuff. Wimpy I know, but it tastes so good.

Funny story though - first time I ever tried Smirnoff Ice, was 4th of July ..close to 20 years ago. Buddy and I are sitting the lake all day. I had about 8-9, stood up to get some more food, and was like "Whoa ... I've got a buzz going". Totally surprised me, as I hadn't felt anything until I stood up.

Ha. I love Coors Light.. I can drink those forever. I love the heartier beers like Summit EPA and Sierra Nevada.. But I can only drink like four or five before I'm stuffed. Coors.. It just.. doesn't stop the party.

The only way I can drink Smirnoff, Mikes, or really any type of light beer (Mich Golden, Coors, Bud Light, etc) is to mix them together. Half girly sugary-tasting drink, half "beer."

Surprising not as plain awful as drinking either as a stand alone...

Not a huge fan of Sierra Nevada, but I've looked out for Ruthless Rye these past few springs, good stuff.

Anyways, I'm turning 21 in a few weeks and I'm considering having a drink. To most peoples surprise I've never had any alcohol. I'm not against it; I just am extremely content with non-alchoholic beverages. Back to the point, I'm turning 21 soon and I haven't decided if I'm going to have a drink or not for novelty sake. The only beer that has ever looked appealing to me is Sam Adams, but after talking with people, they say something like that is more of an acquired taste, and I should start with something more watered down. But, this could possibly be my only drink ever, so any suggestions of something that would be good? And not some cheap drink that isn't worth it.

Hard Cider. Delicious and alcoholic. A good first drink IMO, no burn that you're not used to, not bitter like beer.
