Last time I checked, Kyper didn't have a clue how to run a hockey team and is just some ex-player who's opinion has been made to "matter" too much.

I won't even get started on McLean... Wait no I will. He's a quack. Nuff said.

A move like this just simply is not on Nonis' radar, plain and simple. He's openly said that patience is a virtue and there is no sacrificing futures (ie: picks, young players) to accomplish anything short-term. The leafs will address the goal tending situation in the summer time "a la" Mike Smith etc.
McLean has found his calling...just there for the entertainment value. Every-time he speaks, he shows why he is an ex-GM.

Kind of intriguing. He's an experienced old pro. He probably could be content as a back-up to Reimer. He wouldn't cost too much. Or do we continue to develop our two young goalies for a season, which hasn't worked that badly so far. Scrivens currently has the same number of wins as Luongo, so maybe we should just leave well enough alone. Tough call.

nik khabibullin on a team with a really good defense can win a cup, when he was younger, he won a cup with an average defense and great scoring in tampa bay.

Well, that puts us out of the running. Our defense isn't Cup worthy right now by any stretch.
