Myers is tall, skinny, little to no muscle, and uncoordinated the majority of the time. He is the exact opposite of what an athlete is. "A person possessing the natural or acquired traits, such as strength, agility, and endurance, that are necessary for physical exercise or sports, especially those performed in competitive contexts." Myers is none of those things. Crosby is the definition of what an "athlete" is in the NHL. Genetics does not make one an "athlete". Hard work, dedication, desire, and training over a period of years does.

Ya, it's more of an entire well-being thing than just work-outs. My point for that poster who thought Coho was too small and slow was that Stamkos was drafted at 5'11' and 178 lbs(which I was too lazy to look up earlier). He's now listed at 6'0" and 190 lbs. I wonder if he's too small and slow to be a 1C, and if he would have avoided taking this scrawny kid, and grabbed Doughty instead??????

btw, to the next poster, tall and skinny doesn't make you a poor athlete. Ask Bernard Hopkins. He's like almost 50, and he'd kick anyone we all collectively knows @@@. Long muscles aren't any less powerful than short, compact ones. Is Myers Chara, no, but it doesn't mean he's not a very strong man.

Stamkos is one of the hardest working players in the off season and his play is an excellent demonstration of that. Look at the players in this video.

Ya, I know how good Stamkos is, but the point is when he was drafted, he was a skinny kid, and now after Gary's program, he's a solid man/player. I was trying to show/prove that Coho is basically doing the same thing, so I wondered why he called him small, and slow.

As a disclaimer, Stamkos had talent coming out of every orifice coming out of Sarnia. He was a lot more of a sure thing than Coho, but he wouldn't have become the league's most prolific goal scorer w/o that training, I'm almost positive. He wouldn't have been able to w/o the Stamina(kos).
