Besides the usual suspects, Kurtis Foster. I see bert mentioned him before me, but he's the first guy I thought of. He won the AHL hardest shot at 101 mph.

My team's player.

No but seriously, it made me laugh when Georges Laraque hit over 100 mph.

I would have to say Salo...I remember one Flames game last year, where I believe he had two goals that game, when he had absolute bombs from the point. He also sent Yelle to the bench in pain at least twice that game when he tried to block Salo's shot. Millen was going crazy....

I am suprised nobody has mentioned Jagr, he has an excellent one-timer in which he scored TONS of PP goals with this season, don't know if it's the hardest but for some reason it just kept on finding its way into the back of the net.

As someone already said, when Kurtis Foster of the Wild was in the Thrashers' system, his shot in the AHL skills competition beat the NHL's top shot for that year. Something like 103-104 MPH.

Kovalchuk has a gigantic one-time blast as well. His wind-up alone can clear the crease. Just ask Bobby Holik, he broke his foot.

I remember hearing he had one of the hardest slapshots in the history of the league when he was with San Jose.

Never once did I see it though.
