Wouldn't be shocked if they didn't re-sign him just to keep their 1st lol.

I kinda want to trade with Calgary now just to take advantage of Feaster's incompetence.

Boro + 3rd round pick for Bouwmeester with them eating 2 million off his contract.

I wonder what he'll trade Cammaleri for? How about DD, Regin and a conditional 3rd based on the Sens winning the cup?

I'm pretty sure that's a better package than what the Bruins gave up for Iginla.

Feaster is an awful GM. Khoklachev, Bartowski and a conditional 1st?

He can't even get Jordan Caron out of Chiarelli..

Or ****ing Spooner. Subban, Knight. Anything. Khoklachev is alright. They already have Backlund who's essentially the same damn player. What were the negotiations like?

Feaster: "We really need a goalie"
Chiarelli: "Subban is totally off the table"
Feaster: "but LA offered up Bernier..."
Chia: "nope. How about Knight and a 1st?"
Fatster: "Never heard of Knight, how about that Cocoa Puffs guy?" *salivates*
Chia: "uuhhh, okay...."

Man. They could have just kept him and made him part of the rebuild like the Sens did with Alfie.

Just gave him away. Hell, two second rounders for Murray... and a conditional first for Iggy and a couple of maybe one days? I sure hope that ends up being wrong. I feel bad for Flames fans right now. The Bartkowski prospect sounds like a really mediocre player. And a Bruins first rounder next year is, historically speaking (in a 21 team league) basically the second round. lolz.

The deal is fine if the 1st was guaranteed. A late first, a guy that will probably be a good 2nd line center, and a depth defenseman is an okay return for an aging power-forward that was only going to waive his NTC to 4 teams.

It's not great, but it's fine. A conditional first though? It's worse than what the Pens gave up for Morrow (and to some points of view worse than what they gave up for Douglas ****'ing Murray).

Feaster needs to be fired right now before any more damage is done.

This trade is going to go down as one of the most lobsided in history.

Awful.

Agreed. If it was guaranteed it would be pretty 'MEH', but the fact it's conditional makes it laughable.

This. Its the condition that makes it awful (if it is in fact the case). A first is always a great asset but Bartkowski is almost worthless and Khoklachev is a B prospect. I mean imagine getting a guy like Iginla for Da Costa, Borowiecki and a conditional 1st?

Gotta hope Khokhlachev becomes something special for Flames fans sakes. Pretty unlikely but stranger things have happened.

If he winds up back in Calgary, not bad, I think. I know nothing of Khokhlachev.

Unless iginla resigns actually even if he does this deal makes no sense. He was traded for a guy taken in the 7th round, another kid taken in the 2nd round and a conditional 1st. It really looks like he was only considering boston as I'm sure the pens would be more than willing to give up that morrow kid and a 1st.

So feaster showed class and sent him on his way while bending over.

Seeing this makes me glad we never have to go through with this with Alfie (knock on wood). This would break my heart to see him traded for junk.

Getting assets in return would never be the motivation for trading Alfie. It'd be his call if he wanted a Cup. I'd support the guy all the way.

I'd support him but I'm glad he can actually go for another run with us instead of seeing this **** coming back.

More likely we could have Cammy for Regin and a signed Karlsson hockey card

Khocklarenkov just finished an OK OHL career. I think the Flames should've asked for Spooner instead.

I was thinking they would get Caron, Spooner and a 1st. I was way off haha.

Also, really? Khokhlachev
