Jesus... If this was the return for Iggy, I hope we go after Clowe.

He only closes big deals face to face. He trained as a hypnotist under Reveen in the 1980s.

Flame fans should hang Feaster from the rafters.. There must be a lesser pick included if Iggy doesn't re-sign.

Meh, Iginla at this stage of his career, leaving his home, playing under Julien, big deal.

You know, makes me feel better that Koivu left as a UFA, sometimes a trade for a legend is more insulting than getting nothing.

For all we know, this trade could end up being the equivalent of Iginla for Zherdev and *insert dime a dozen D here*.

One of the best in the business. Timing just seems to be always there for them and not only Chiarelli but even the not-so distant past administration.

No way I give up Leblanc for Clowe

And I wouldnt even mind giving them Weber instead of Pateryn/Ellis. I think the Sharks would mind though.

At this point signing Clowe would almost seem sad, like responding to Iggy with the ghetto version of Iggy.

(Still, it's a shame the Sharks aren't as poorly managed as the Flames...Avtsin, Weber and a conditional 3rd!)

Feaster is a horrible GM and it's going to hurt to have to hate Iggy...

You mean like the time the Bruins traded for Kaberle?

What would be the equivalent from our side? Collberg, Pateryn and a 1st? I'm not in favor of Bergevin selling the farm but I'd do that trade for Iginla in a heartbeat.
Can't beleive they didn't demand Malcom Subban. Feaster is brutal.

Wow that's uh... ridiculous.

Feaster is a joke. BOS doesn't have the cap room to re-sign him unless he signs for like 3 M.
Wow. It just gets worse and worse for Calgary. Reminds me of when I found out that the Gomez trade didn't just include Higgins but McD as well. I'd be so pissed if I was a Calagary fan right now.

He's done a great job with that team. And he knows who the suckers are... Leafs and Flames. Leafs were the best team in the league to trade with and now it's Calgary. He knows how to exploit the fools.

No matter what we and they thought of him....they happen to win the cup with him. Played all 25 games. They will pay with the picks they have given, probably not with Colborne though. Yet, Boston has the merit to still be deep.

Iggy won't be a class act when he'll be calling us for embellishment and when he'll want to fight Plekanec...People should be ready for a complete turnaround. Wearing that Bruins jersey does that to you....see Claude Julien.

'Cause a great GM deals with an awful one. The gap is so big here....and so is the result of the deal. Again, Koko needs to be so good....can't wait to see his progression.

Besides, I hate when people analyse a trade based on where the guy that was traded was picked. People said as if Koko is equivalent to a 2nd rounder because that's where he was picked. Frankly, the way he played this year...he would have been worth a 1st round pick. Rarely seen such an electrifying player in Junior this year. Yet, it doesn't change the fact that Boston doesn't give their best prospect and nobody on the roster. Making them much improved.

Who will fight Iggy now? They have yet another top 6 forward who can scrap

It's gonna be so sad. I've always been such a big fan but I know what's coming. He's going to turn into an *******.

It's why I hope Vancouver inquires about Tanguay or Cammalleri. Could probably get them for a fourth and Calgary holds salary.

This does mean we need to do something to keep pace with Pittsburgh and Boston.

Either that or he'll be sitting in the back of the bus.
