Obviously depends on the cost, but assuming it's pretty low I'm all for it.

I'd want Hanzal...so hot right now.

But they're not moving that guy.

I find it funny that the Kings fans say Toffoli is off limits.

But then people on this board say that wanting to keep Kuznetsov and Forsberg is being stingy with your prospects because you don't want to trade either for a slow 30 year old.

Also I laugh at the fact you guys see a topic that mentions several Coyotes players being available including Steve Sullivan and you guys respond with wanting Gordon while everyone on this board seems to hate on MoJo. Steve Sullivan with Backstrom and Ovechkin would be great.

I wonder with Anaheim on a 3 game losing streak, about to go to 4. I wonder if the Caps could dangle Laich, we all know BB liked him. Anaheim is supposedly very secretive, which means they can dangle and see if they can get a good trade for him.

Though I have a feeling no one in the media cares about the Ducks and don't bother covering them instead of them being secretive.

Laich is a good player and so is
Brouwer. They meet or exceed expectations every year. The deadweight on the roster is elsewhere. That fans want to take their frustrations out on the hardest working players on the team just exhibits a lack of nuance and fanboy loyalty to the underachievers whose names are on the back of jerseys.

According to Aaron Ward, Iggy is a Bruin.

So what are he chances the Caps get past the Bruins or Pens if they make the playoffs

No they didn't. A 1st rounder, a B+ prospect (who happens to be the same guy they offered for Morrow), and a C prospect for Jarome Iginla? That's not much at all.

Really? They gave up a nice but unspectacular prospect, a minor leaguer, and a conditional 2014 1st for a guy who's still one of the best power forwards in the game. Everyone in the thread on the main boards is shocked the Bruins got him so cheap.

Wait, it's a conditional 2014 pick? Jesus.

A deal like that would make me cancel my season tickets.

That's what's being said on the main boards. I'm not sure if it's not confirmed what the condition is, but if it's based on him resigning then it couldn't be for the 2013 draft since it's before free agency.

Double edit: Nope, seems to be legit

For two prospects I've never heard of and the Pens 2013 1st, apparently. Not sure if this is really better than the Bruins deal.

Feaster is bar none the worst GM in the league. (Yes I realize he did right by Iginla on this, but he screwed the Flames. Should've gotten way more.) What can we take from him since he's in such a giving mood?

I'm not sure but I wonder what he'd give for Shultz.

You can probably get Feaster to trade Calgary's 1st round pick to the Caps by threatening to trade Jeff Schultz to them.

I wonder what Ribs will get if he doesn't resign now. Man, I can't believe Feaster. Pens are stacked now, but nothing is a given in the playoffs. They did increase their chances big time.

Put down the NHL '13 brah, we on this board adhere to realistic lineups. There's no way a team can add more than one depth player to the roster per year.
