Looks like the Sharks are going to make it a 5 point mountain for the Oilers again tonight. They're up on the Ducks 3-0 in the 1st.

So with Iginla a healthy scratch... is this finally where they cave and go into full-on rebuild mode?

Breaks his ironman streak of 441 games.

I predict flames wont fold w.o Iggy. He wasnt a dominant first liner this year, his absence wont cause them to go 2-15

I grew up and still live in calgary, the city will actually feel different without him here. Glad the oil don't have to face him as much though now, but it will have a real impact on the community.

We'll really see the difference between Edmonton Oilers fans and Calgary Flames fans between now and the end of the season. The Dome is gonna have a lot of empty seats.

NHL has the Iggy trade up, it must be a go.

Real changing times down south. Whole hockey province now officially on rebuild.

Iggy should make a decent Bruin, fit right in there but I don't like the Bruins anyhow. Man, Boston didn't have to give up much for a good rental that should help them go deep this year again. Habs fans are going "oh ****".

Safe to say Pitt is a slight Cup favourite at this point.

Good thing, I hate the Bruins.

Afairc Crosby and Iggy have been tight for years so this makes lots more sense.

Listening to the press conference... Feaster says he doesn't want to use the "rebuild" term.

Walks like a duck... quacks like a duck... tastes like a duck Jay...

As long as Cooke is on the Pens I refuse to cheer for them.

In fact, go Western Champion! ...Unless it's Vancouver.

If Iggy is a Penguin, I'm gonna have to betray my Philly brothers and cheer for the Penguins in this years playoffs....if Philly is out of it. Iggy and Crosby were on the golden goal team together. They are going to put some hurt into a few teams this year.

Oh Yeah, I'm a huge Iggy fan BTW. I hope he wins a cup with the Pens!!

Well, it's only a rebuild if you sell your stars for good players. According to The Hockey News, these two are the 10th and 12th ranked prospects the Pens have. So, no danger of a rebuild here. LOL

A friend of mine who is a Calgary fan was asking me for tips on how to be a fan of a last place team.

Things are starting to sink in down South.
