I totally understand your view mike but teams have a window for cup chances and if Chiarele views it as now then the Bruins have to go for it. My hope is the "yeti" comes and the acquire Streit and Moulson for Subban and Knight and our 1st round pick but what does happen is beyond our choices and hope for the best.

Honestly I am starting to wonder if Camara isn't over the edge to being just plain nuts.

i think we all want a tough guy with an edge, but right now he is a guy who seems to go way to far way to often, and will have a very short career if he can't learn to control himself.

Honestly to me depending on what shooting a puck into the stands means, i think the penalty is light. If he just flipped the puck over the board, then 3 games is ok. If he actually shot the puck with velocity up into the stands, then honestly I think that is crossing WAY over the line, and it should be a LONG suspenson, LONG

Can't see the Islanders giving away Moulson

Nor the Bruin's Knight.

He's had nothing but problems this year, but my gut tells me that given the B's patience with Knight, they would deal KoKo and probably Spooner before JK.

From the Kingston Whig Standard Paper:

Series notes: The Colts were hit with two significant suspensions from Saturday’s game in Barrie. Anthony Camara received three games for a tirade that saw him throwing equipment around after he was tabbed for a slashing minor. He then iced the suspension by flipping the puck into the stands. …

Well that is good news. I do think he needs to learn to control himself better, but at least he didn't cross the line into complete psycho, which is what I would call shooting the puck into the stands out of anger (as it was described earlier)

I also have no problem with the suspension. He is going to have to control himself a lot more if he wants the NHL career

Flames fan here - If the deal does happen, what kind of player do many of you expect Khokhlachev to turn into?

25-55-70 at his peak, but i'm no scout. Won't shy away from rough stuff but won't ever be physically able to rough anyone up. Medium speed made up for with great vision & release.

I've only seen him at the past world jrs. His play was dominant. Good on the face offs. He may be one of our top forward prospects. I think he is under rated. But I'm no scout. And my viewing was limited.

First liner with boom/bust tendencies. He could be a Giroux level player one day but it's unlikely.

Koko is still very young. He's only 19. Just missed being in the 2012 draft by a few days. Considering Iginla was leaving and you weren't going to get anything for him. Not a bad haul. Just make the pick count. An offensive player with upside and a first are the beginning of your rebuild. Don't know much about Bartkowski at all.

Giroux-level player?

Says who?

KoKo has Top 6 potential, but this is the first time I have ever heard him compared to Giroux.

I don't know why I said Giroux. I meant more of a Briere level player, I guess two centers on Philly can throw me off for a second. Can be an absolute monster but might not reach that top potential.

Although from some of the clips I've seen of him he almost has a Giroux-lite-like game.

One thing to add onto the other comments here is that I was really impressed with his effort level in the WJC. He played primarily with Yakupov and he busted his ass, was solid in both ends. I think he's likely a high-end 2C at his peak, but one that will play both ways. Not unlike a David Krejci.

That's it? That was about as nonchalant as it gets. I'm not even sure he was trying to put it in the stands?

For a baseline of how suspension happy Dave Branch is, check out the hit Camara's captain O'Connor got ten games for:

Looks clean to me but somebody got hurt so Branch just has to suspend. Not enough what he's done to fighting in his league, clean hits are up next. Now Camara's suspension is totally unrelated and Camara shouldn't have done what he did but three playoff games seems a bit much.

The head is the inital point of contact, at least that's what it looks like to me. As far as I know in the OHL that's an automatic 10 game suspension, no decision making involved. Even so I don't really mind them cracking down on things, it's a junior league and you have kids learning how to conduct themselves in a professional manner.

Koko has a Hall of Fame career and tonight actually turns out to be a great night. For now it hurts but I'm still glad to hold on to him. Now if the Bruins let him go for something lesser then I will be upset.

Considering they just tried to trade him twice in the same week, i doubt Koko is here for the long hual.

KoKo for Morrow was never confirmed. Iginla and Morrow are two different animals, and I don't think there was any way Chia offered him for Morrow.
