If the NCAA is such a **** league why did they ever rate Schultz as high?

I'm honestly hoping they rank Reinhart over all these defensemen for the pure hilarity.
It's not.

He was making a point. Schultz was dominant in the NCAA... and proceeded to destroy the AHL in spectacular fashion. AHL>>CHL is a fact, so the NCAA is very much on the same level as the CHL if not better.

Brodin rated a 7.5B is ridiculous. He stepped into the NHL at 19 and immediately solidified the top pairing. He's already hit his projected ceiling. Doesn't that mean the ceiling should be moved up?

I'd have him at 8.5B honestly.

Here's my Wild top 20:

1. Jonas Brodin - 8.5B
T2. Charlie Coyle - 7.5B
T2. Jason Zucker - 7.5B
4. Mikael Granlund - 8.0C
T5. Mat Dumba - 7.5C
T5. Johan Larsson - 7.5C
T5. Matt Hackett - 7.5C
T5. Darcy Kuemper - 7.5C
T9. Mario Lucia - 7.0C
T9. Erik Haula - 7.0C
T9. Johan Gustafsson - 7.0C
T9. Tyler Graovac - 7.0C
T9. Raphael Bussieres - 7.0C
14. David McIntyre - 6.0B
15. Zack Phillips - 7.5D
16. Justin Fontaine - 6.5C
T17. Adam Gilmour - 7.0D
T17. Danniel Gunnarsson - 7.0D
T19. Brett Bulmer - 6.0C
T19. Steven Kampfer - 6.0C
T19. Carson McMillan - 6.0C

Brodin's obvious.

Coyle and Zucker stepped into the top six this year and looked good, Coyle has everything but needs the offense to come around and Zucker has the offense and needs to fill out the rest of the game.

Granlund worries me, I still have him as a higher ceiling but he's been great in the minors. Should have been NHL ready but didn't look it at all. Skating a big concern.

Dumba is just a guess, haven't seen him really.

Larsson I have higher than most, I just think he's got some offensive potential, but I'll admit that's a bump from me.

Hackett and Kuemper have both started games and looked good, both still young.

Lucia and Haula have shown good things in NCAA, Haula more so but Lucia is a freshman and Haula broke out his second year.

Gustafsson (along with Gunnarsson) very highly rated European prospect, kind of a sleeper

Graovac and Bussieres are middle six guys with streaky but excellent production, not far apart in ages either.

McIntyre is very close to NHL ready, he's led the minor league team in plus-minus and has chipped in points, seems like he could be a decent fourth line center in the NHL

Phillips I'm not high on at all, he's coming around but I think he's just buried on the depth chart. Skill - skating = not a good formula, just look at Granlund.

Gilmour another potential sleeper, not sure what to make of him yet.

Bulmer I never liked, thought he overachieved as an older player in juniors and is just awful in the minors now. Same for Kampfer.

McMillan is pretty borderline to me, hasn't done much in the minors for a few years.

As a Rebels season ticket holder, this is definitely true. Dumba has improved in his weaker areas a great deal this year
