Maybe you should actually watch a player (Koko too) before claiming them the panacea for this team

There have been plenty of Sharks fans in these threads begging us to take Clowe off their hands. Plus anyone that has seen him knows he has been ****

Pretty much. This year is going down the drain.

Ya but see I actually LIVE in Shark country and talk to Shark fans on a daily basis I don't base my opinions on mere speculation from online forum people.

I have watched some of Koko and have seen some Clowe as well.

Clowe and/or Soderberg would help this team immensely

So you base your opinions of speculation from your friends who are Sharks fans, and not Sharks fans who love the game enough to sign up to be a member of a freakin' message board to talk more about hockey.

You even admitted you haven't seen him play. Clowe is beyond washed up.

I can't link it from my phone but search "bruins iginla espn"...there's a story from inside the hour with some lockeroom quotes...Bruins talking about being distracted by Iginla trade......pathetic...Way to stay focused and professional...Its just the habs *geesh*...excuses...excuses...

...and I didn't think I could feel worse about the sorry mental state of our team......

Clowe can't skate, he can't score, he has the temperament of a 5 year old child

Better off just standing pat then wasting anything on bringing him in

He's basically a worse version of Lucic

yes cuz you're not a real die hard fan if you don't talk about hockey on a forum

Some people have lives and don't need to talk about hockey on a forum. My friends are dedicated Sharks fans.

I have seen Clowe play I don't watch every single Sharks game nor have I watched one this week or last week.

Honestly just hold onto assets at this point. Unless you can get someone like MSL, what's the use of trading a 1st & prospect for someone like Clowe, Whitney, etc?

With Horton/Lucic the Bruins have the LW's the Oilers have always dreamed of having for Hemsky. Big, non-lazy, scoring LW's (upgrade on Penner) that can drive the net, retrieve pucks, and finish simple plays.

The Bruins would benefit a ton from this guy on their team.

1) PP puck wizard - instant offense

2) Instant one-man zone-entry machine

3) Krejci's buddy from the Czech League over the summer = good chemistry on PP

4) Proven playoff talent (16p in 24gp)

5) Can take offensively underwhelming Center (Peverley?) and if partnered with a big winger produce like an NHL top line.

What the hell does this have to do with anything,

I have friends that are dedicated Jets fans who think Ron Hainsey can pass for a good hockey player, guess that makes them right, right?

Couldn't agree more.

Agreed. It sucks that we went from looking a couple hours ago like at worst, the co-favorites of the East with Pittsburgh to now being a good deal behind them but considering the gap between us and Pittsburgh now, I wouldn't go nuts trading away future assets for very imperfect fits and pieces trying to chase the Pens in a win now season. The exception of course would be Martin St. Louis who I'd go after HARD, but I don't believe for a second the Lightning are trading him, let alone to a team who will be in their division next year.

Rather have patience and hopefully make a big splash in the off-season for a guy like Bobby Ryan or whoever than make a panic move now.

There is a difference between dedicated and knowledgeable. I've got one friend at school who loves to talk Bruins with me all the time, but my favorite quote from him ever was when he claimed that "the Bruins get the Winter Classic almost every year"

Pretty safe to say I stopped listening to him from that point on. And not saying I am one of them by any means, but there are plenty of extremely knowledgeable posters here agreeing with me

1. Lol at thinking the Bruins would trade a roster player for Hemsky.

2. Lol at thinking Nathan Horton isn't lazy. Guy is probably the laziest player in the NHL.

And then Hemsky gets hurt two games into his Bruin tenure and we're right the **** back where we started

Who will Pittsburg pick up next? Is Morrow their depth forward now? Certainly seems like they're running out of room.

Hopefully Chia will find one top 6 forward worth adding. No...Not Yeti... He's our Morrow...

I wouldn't be surprised if they went after another defenseman

Jagr plays with Krejci, scores the game winner and knocks Pittsburgh out of the playoffs.

Dallas seems entrenched in their desire to re-sign Jagr sadly

By all accounts the Chia package was better than what Calgary ended up sending. Can't fault Chia. Iggy chose Crosby, probably a combo of loving Crosby and hating Jacobs.

Yep. All those accounts of Boston being his top destination were inaccurate. Calgary preferred our deal but the player wanted elsewhere.
