For min plus incentives what can it hurt?

I would take a chance on him for sure, as long as he's healthy. He's got huge upside, he's a big body and a pure goalscorer. If it wasn't for his back, he'd be one of the better power forwards in the game.

I wouldn't give him more then 1.5...if our organization really wants him. We don't have a frickin single spot though.

We have no spot for Dumont. We surely have -1 spot for Dazé if that makes any sense.

It seems every two or three days you have a bloody thread about signing some player or another and most of them are useless. Daze is done so forget about him.

I don't understand why this is even a debate (well, ok maybe I do), but the bottom line is that Daze can't play hockey anymore.

And on top of that, even when he could play, the simple truth is that he wasn't any great deal different than Pierre Dagenais. Big creampuff with a shot, but at least he was getting the chance at regular icetime with Hawks for several seasons. Give Dagenais his icetime and he'd get the 30 goals too. So could Jonas Hoglund. But I don't want any of them on my team.

If we had the desire and the money to add another forward, Dumont would be a FAR better choice. I think the suggestion that was made before about bringing Stephane Richer back would also be a far better choice.

No way, we have more than enough players right now, and I want the prospects to have playing time, over injury-riddled players.

And Habber, it's not because he's huge that he's automatically a PF... he's like Dagenais in that regard, he doesn't play physical, he's just a huge finesse player.

Seriously, at 1 M$, any team would take the risk if his problems are history. The problem is probably more that he can't risk M$ paid by is insurance only for 1M$ (I know most of us would run with the M$, but I expect him to do like Blackburn).

if he wants to play with any team it will be league minimum. No way a team pays him 1 million.
