If you're asking about penguins because of the trade then don't know what to say. Only reason it's personal is because some sources leaked too early. Iggy wants to play with guy he scored game winning goal(iggy assisted) for gold at Olympics who happens to be best player in the world.

If its about Cooke and stuff I understand.

Either way, ill take a break from Boston-montreal too. Great games and all but some changes are nice.

The reasoning behind Iginla's choice illustrates Chiarelli's failure to maintain this team as a contender.

It's still the Habs. It's always gonna be the Habs.

10 years from now, Pittsburgh will return to hockey irrelevancy.

The Habs will survive the apocalypse.

I don't think Chiarelli has failed as completely as you suggest. When this team is 100% healthy it is a contender. Perhaps not the strongest contender but a contender nonetheless.

From what I can gather in this instance there was nothing Chiarelli could do-apparently he made a better offer than Pittsburgh did but Iginla chose the Penguins.

Not me, Pitt is a crap city to live in. I would want to play in Boston and be idolized like the great Bobby Orr. Boston is the best place to play period.

I want us to take out the Pens but if not us I'd even root for the habs to do it.

I'd rather the Pens get upset in the first round, and the Bruins eliminate the Habs. Then sweep Vancouver in the finals. Marchand Conn Smythe. HF would

It's the fact that he said he would accept a trade to us and then basically vetoed it. It ****s with our prospects heads, it wastes precious time of Chia's this close to the deadline, and it is overall an underhanded, unprofessional way to conduct business.

This. We get Khoko to agree to come back only to make him sit out while we reveal our hand and attempt to trade the guy. I know hockey is a business but there are some limits. I hope Feaster and Iginla lost some respect amongst their colleagues last night. I also hope Khoko isn't calling up his dad to bring him back home where this sort of shady, dramatical BS doesn't go on. That said, Chia needs to either improve this team or get rid of Horton to a team that wants him before throwing in the towel.

27 to 27 right now. Wow

I expect montreal to get a cheap powerplay just before the end, so they can pull it out

Bruins are a contender. Pittsburgh is looking really good right now though and that's prolly why Iggy chose to get there - that plus playing with Sid and Malkin. That's not really Chia's fault. I think these blockbuster deadline rentals aren't alls they are cracked up to be. I think you guys could take the Pens.

For the Pens to be so close to the hated Habs, well, that must be a first! LOL!

The Iggy deal really sucked for you guys. It was a slap in the face big time. I suspect that you will secretly root for the Habs if the time came.....because revenge is soooo sweet!
