I wouldn't be too surprised if he says something along the lines of, "In the end, we need to respect each other, and more importantly, keep in mind that there are real people (Koko) impacted by underhanded tactics."

One could argue both offers for Morrow and Iginla were superior, yet both ended up in Pit. I thought if a deal with Cgy could be agreed, Iggy would waive his NTC, but it sucks that in the end he never wanted to come here. I wish Feaster had the balls to tell him I can't reach a deal with Pit, so it's Boston or here.
I don't care what the players think. There are always more factors involved than fans think. It's not a slight to the team or organization because Iginla (who knows nothing about either) decided to go Pitt. Bourque chose the Flyers....he was very wrong.

Chia needs to move faster and think bigger. Iggy was nice, but not the best player available at all.

I'd take Hainsey. Solid 2nd/3rd pairing guy. Perfect fit.

Nah, he won't. Dude thought he had Iginla in the bag.... I would expect some anger.

Signing Malkin as a UFA in 2014 would be nice.

Yep. Not sure why people think the B's can't afford 1 guy like that when you have teams with multiple guys like that. There are always ways to make room for top end talent.

Chia will play the PR game and say that Feaster never asked Boston to submit a better offer and found out Pittsburgh made the deal the same way we found out.

Then he will say he's still evaluating the market, but it's a seller's market and prices remain high.

Time to dangle Subban in front of Philly and see what we can get. Goalies and Philly are like shinny objects and blondes.

What's stupid is that you actually believe GM's are on the phone working out deals THE ENTIRE DAY. I'm sure if Chiarelli gives the media 15 minutes of his time, we are really going to miss out on deals badly. He can't just call the other GM back if someone wants to talk trade with him when he's doing his press conference. Actually, no, that's exactly what he can do. Stop being dumb.

I still can't believe Pittsburgh has sauced us on two deals.
