Guys the real winners are Boston. They may have lost the Game, but with Iginla coming their way any day now, they'll be unstoppable.

Woooooooooo! Great news!

MT really needs to tweak his D pairings, Markov-Emelin was painfully exposed as being the weak link. Markov is just too slow now, and Emelin is basically still a rookie and NOT the guy to cover cover him. Need to switch up the top 4.

Markov - Gorges
Emelin - Subban

Gorges has the know-how to cover Markov's weaknesses better. He spent years playing RD and is comfortable playing his off-side.

Subban covers a lot of ice and can handle Emelin's mistakes and slowness better than Markov. Also Emelin should hopefully be more comfortable on his natural LD side.

By the way, while reading the main board Eastern Conference I couldn't help but wonder: are Leafs fans basically living vicariously through the Bruins because they haven't made the playoffs in almost a decade? The same team that essentially gave away Seguin and Hamilton to Boston? Holy ****, some of their fans are pathetic.

Beating Boston now basically means pissing off Bruins and Leafs fan. Good riddance.
Ya I was on Boston's board yesterday (guilty pleasure of mine to visit there after a Habs win) and a couple Leafs fans were way up the Bruins posters (butts).

Have some pride ffs.

It's not so much that Markov is slow it's that he gambles at times like he has great speed and he only has average speed right now.

He needs to gamble less, only on really high percentage plays at the blueline or mid ice.

So, someone can make a gif on TSN's perspective of Subban's goal?

Things to improve upon for next game:
-Split up Markov and Emelin
-Keep Subban/Markov pairing on for entire PP
-Split up the DD line

He always plays like that.. One of the most over rated player in the history of hockey.

Subban sure did

Don't remember when PK almost dished him The Mother Of All Hits? Bruins Fans claimed PK went for an elbow to the head.

He's the guy who got out of the way when Subban took a huge run at a guy.

I hate to use this word, but I'm thinking perhaps he's a bit "overrated" on this site by many, including myself.
