Wow Quailer must have some pair of cojones on him to go against Neilson.

Or did he not know who he was?

Quailer had a fight with another big fighter of some repute. Can't remember who it was. He lossed but I didn't think he did too bad.

I'd love for nothing more then for Q putting it all together.

Two assists last night ties him with Michael Bournival for Hamilton's scoring lead (with Dumont in Montreal). His second helper was a nice one. Little spinorama at the blueline on the PP, dished back to Holland, who sent across to St. Denis for a goal.

Plays huge minutes with Greg Pateryn on the top pairing as he has for some time now in all situations (SH, PP, 5on5). His game has progressed in a HUGE way over the course of this season.

as much as i like tinordi, im just not happy with him playing as little as he is with the habs. Its either time to trade for reinforcements or time to call up another Dman for a couple games.

Are St-Denis or Beaulieu deserving of a call up right now?

Beaulieu is deserving of a look certainly. I'd like to see them give him a shot in Tinordi's place if Diaz isn't coming back this season (which is how it looks). Would spice up the second powerplay unit beyond the current Bouillon - Gorges pair.

St. Denis has been St. Denis. Fine, but nothing overly impressive at either end of the ice. I'd rather he stay in Hamilton where he is a big leader / influence on the young blueliners.

Bad idea... this is good for Tinordi and it is working for the Habs

The Bulldogs only have a handful of games left. Once their season is over I would guess that a handful of players will be recalled to travel/practice with the Habs. If an opportunity arises at that time Beaulieu and others could have a chance to showcase their skills. At the very least the coaching staff will be able to evaluate them in practice against NHL players.

I would assume he doesn't know him, cause I don't want to think that Quailer is that stupid since he's not a good fighter to begin with.

I like how's he looked for the Habs, they seem to be handling him well imo so I'd leave it as is. I wouldn't call up Beaulieu or St-Denis in his place. But if Diaz isn't back I hope they trade for help.

What? No faith in Kaberle or Weber?

Personally I hope they don't trade for a d-man unless they can steal one. At this time of year I think buyers often over-pay (the Iginla trade is an exception) and I don't want to overpay at this point. I would sooner see the organization continue to build from within. Next year will give us a better read on how the organization re-structuring is going and a better chance to deal from a position of strength.

Goaltender that played this year for one of the worst 'Q teams in Sherbrooke, carried them to playoffs.

He was also the goaltender who helped Rimouski surprisingly reach the finals last season.

Hot and cold kind of goaltender, when he's hot, he's very good.

Very accurate. He lacks consistency, but when he's on top of his game, probably one of the best goalie in the CHL this year.

I'm assuming he signed an ATO with the Dogs to finish the year. I doubt he will see much ice time though; Tokarski has been on fire lately and Mayer played really good last night.

Mayer wasn't good. Very weak 3rd period.

He will feel right at home going from a bottom team to another bottom team.

From an inconsistent goalie in Mayer...to another.
