Haha, I won't lie, I laughed a little when I saw you post the exact same message on both boards. Anyone say how they played?

MacKinnon's played a great playoff .. Fast, dangerous, defensive ... And yet he's still last on his line in scoring lol.

It's pretty crazy what that line has done!!

Frk has 6 goals and 4 assists, an average of 2.5ppg.. and is a +5.
Drouin has 2 goals and 8 assists, an average of 2.5ppg.. and is a +6.
MacKinnon is slacking with only 3 goals and 4 assists, an average of 1.75ppg.. and is a +5.

Indeed...

Not a bad drop-off after that either. 8 out of their 9 top 3 line forwards are at a ppg or above. Boudreau is the only one below with 3 pts in 4 games, but he is likely to hit ppg in the next round (also Ryan who is on the fourth line, something that says more than anything else about this team's depth, is ppg).
Fournier on the third line is ahead of MacKinnon at 3 goals, 6 assists, an average of 2.25 ppg and is a +4

edit: heck lol, you want depth... besides max lindsay and liam alcade who of course are replacement guys and haven't played all the games (1 GP & 2 GP respectively) Austyn Hardie (D) is the only player on the team who hasn't registered a point, including their goaltender (1A), lol.

MacK was the most jacked guy, that is all I will take out of that video. Good posture and physique. Takes balls to do that too.

Just curious, do most Flames fans want him, or Jones, if you guys get the first pick?

I can't speak for all Flames fans, but since we haven't had a number one centre since Nieuwendyk, MacKinnon is an easy choice for me. Plus I'm always weary of picking a defenceman with a top 3 draft pick.

Besides, there's no way the Avs don't pick Jones.

If the Flames can get a lot of TSN/CBC games from now on then yes, I will be in favor of Calgary over Florida for MacKinnon. GO panthers!

It would be weird/interesting seeing Joey MacDonald, Tanguay, and MacKinnon playing on the same NHL team.

I hope Calgary doesn't get him, but it's looking likely... If they do, at least, similar to your reasoning, every flames game I go to at least I will get to watch Mac. Even though that will mean I will always feel bad/conflicted rooting against his team.

Him and Hube in Florida on the other hand would be good for the game.

Let's remember that the worst team has a 25% chance of getting the top pick if I remember correctly.

In any case, let's keep speculation for what teams draft who out of this thread, especially when we don't even know where teams will be drafting.

MacKinnon had a great start to round 2 against Gatineau at home this weekend...

Not sure of the exact stats but I know he had a ton of assists, and a couple that were elite-level vision...the way him and Drouin/Frk can run a powerplay and move the puck through lanes/seams is extremely impressive.

Think we just got a little glimpse of his overall game as well, game 2 got a little chippy and MacKinnon was getting involved a little bit, overall was the best HFX player on the ice in game 1/2 and this is coming from a guy who loves Drouin as well...

Easily the best player on the ice. 5 assists +2 and 27/40 on the draws in 2 games.
