What would you ideally want for Girodano?

Percy/Colborne
Conditional 1st (Leafs win a 1 playoff series if not becomes 2nd 2013 3rd 2014)
Ross/McKegg

???
Maybe something like
Colborne + Percy/Blacker + Scrivens+ 1st for Gio + Kipper

Gio and Dion are really good friends.

Not sure Calgary will deal Gio, but if he's made available, I could see Dion pushing for him.

Can't give up Scrivens becaue Kipper isn't gonna play for us.

He's signed beyond next season. Why would ownership spend over 4 million dollars a year on a player they do not need/want going into a rebuild? You're asking ownership to cough up 8.4 million dollars during a rebuilding period, where they are looking at a potential revenue downfall.

And yes, Calgary will always be looking for solid FA opportunities.

Based on what? The report about him not reporting was bogus, Feaster said he talked to Kipper and his agent 2 weeks ago and Kipper just wants warning before a deal is done.

Cammalleri for Josefson.

I'll throw in a 2nd if you eat half of his salary.

He has played very well this year and would fill in nicely when/if they trade Jbo and Gio. It makes moving them easier and he has been underrated as he is so far in AV's doghouse he can't see the light of day.

I would ask for Jensen in a Glencross trade, he is a top 6 winger that is a great pker and makes just over 2.5 million a year he has one of the best contracts in the league.

Haha what have we learned over the last 24 hours? Doesn't matter if you don't want them, because obviously Feaster does.

Didn't Glencross take less money as a free agent to get a NMC from Calgary because he wanted to stay in Alberta.

So it's not so much what Calgary want, as would Glencross accept a trade to a team outside of the province.

Ummm....no. If the Flames are rebuilding it's time to save money, not splurge on someone who may or may not be able to help out.

Ballard has zero offensive upside, and averages minimal minutes every night. There are much cheaper options on the open market if the Flames are looking for a warm body, and I'd rather give the extra ice time to a rookie.

Are you an owner? Again agree to disagree he could handle top 4 minutes much better than any free agents.

I think if Feaster waited until april 3, Cammy and Glencross would command upwards of a 1st round pick. Jbo would certainly be a 1st and maybe more. There will be impulsive GMs on contending teams.

I don't have to be an owner to know that Ballard's contract is going to be a major consideration to any team taking him on.

Maybe you can ask the owners otherwise. If they agree with you, I'll apologize.

How has Tanguay been this year? He could be a good for on our second line.
