And Strickland now believes we won't move a roster player. He writes useless things with no substance just to get hits on his website.

JR is very good. Strick is, well, he usually is good at reporting news after it comes out.

He is, he avoids rumors, so if he says something, I'd believe it.

I think Stewart will get about 4-4.5 per year for about four years. No way does he get over 5 million a year.

I think we can look at a Backes $$ contract also. He is our most natural goal scorer, but isn't a sekle candidate. So I don't see him getting a huge raise.

Paul Bisonette (Pho) (D)
And
Patrick Bordeleau (COL) (LW )Would be a great fit on MTL.

And St-Louis would refuse to trade Perron for Gionta they are in playoff they want immediate improvement to be a cup contender like :

Pits
Chicago
Anaheim
etc..
Given that Bourque might never play hockey again, I believe we could use another LW, you know like David Perron...

Depending on how Tinordi plays and if Diaz is back i would be tempted to replace gionta by Perron and if we would have to trade Gorges it might be a fair deal.

Perron is still one of the most talented quebecers in the league and if he could get past his injury woes is a very good player. It would calm mtl media a bit and also the french fans.

I don't like the fact that he missed almost a full year because of a concussion.

Blues and Montreal are rather bad trading partners to be honest, we don't need to get younger and unless we want to sell high on a roster player and bank on Galchenyuk becoming a #1 C there's very little point in helping Montreal get better.

Everyone in the league is if you want to be a pessimist.
